This is really interesting. As someone who speaks Serbian, I did not know that this existed between both languages. Example: Ајмо да покупимо нешто. Translation: Let’s go pick up something.

По + present tense =future По + past tense = past perfect. По +infinitive -shows process more in general. That's it.💥

I don't agree with "that's it", because you don't take into account the forms of the verb in the past Л and the future tense with будет, and it's not easy to decide if it's the process or the outcome. That' comparison is what is missing in the video. To say it in fewer words: the notion of verb aspect is not that simple.

@@AlinefromToulouse of course it's not simple just I showed above the common system. Moreover there are some verbs where По is part of word but not prefix. Показать,понять,поливать etc. Prefix По is not used with them.

About Будет+infinitive in the future tense it conforms to english Will be doing but this video is about prefix По. So. Я еду -I go/drive Я поеду- I will go/drive Я буду ехать - I will be going/driving If to use Бы with past form it turns into conditional tense both for the past and the future. Я бы поехал.(вчера,завтра). I would have gone/I would go.

@@olegpetrovskiy1583 The video is about по in the case of the verb aspect, not as a preposition that changes the meaning of the verb or as not separable from the rest of the word, but the imperfective forms past and future are not mentioned. With your 2 explanations and examples combined the picture is clear.

Also you need to be sure that you know the exceptions For example: "покупать" - in this case is imperfective verb, and "купить" is perfective.

This can differ, for example "покупаю кошку" is perfective, but "покупаю кошку" is imperfective.

Очень интересно смотреть объяснения о родном языке на иностранном для иностранцев. Подписался. Я понимаю, что Вы им максимально упростили жизнь, но приставка ПО не всегда автоматически делает глагол совершенного вида. Я вот, например, после работы по вечерам ПОигрываю на гитаре для души. Я понимаю, что это немного нелитературно, но как носитель я могу так сказать и другие носители поймут, что оттенок глагола поменялся. Поигрываю то есть непрофессионально, недолго и в качестве хобби. Но к Вам претензий нет. Такое будет сложно объяснить иностранцу.

Вы видите зеркальную ситуацию с уроками английского языка. Носители, уж поверьте, также понимают на сколько нам его упрощают 😅 Литературный английский далеко не такой простой язык, уже не говоря о всякий диалектах, жаргонах и других словечках

I kind of feel some inconsistency in this explanation. He is missing a meaningful detail about using "По". "По" includes not just a perfection aspect. Often it has an aspect of limited duration of an action, sometimes partly finished process and often used in descriptions of the multiple actions sequence . You cant just translate directly I have done it -> Я поделал это. it's wrong cos its gonna mean that you was doing it for some time then interrupted the process, so the process ended with questionable or partial success. In this case you should say Я сделал это.

Where I get really confused is why there is no stress mark above O, as in Ó... If there is no stress mark then I want to say PA, Not Po. I understand ПО as in to speak in Russian, but if there is no stress mark, then everything is ПО -PA....Love all your video's by the way. Привет из Англии 🙏🏻🙋🏻‍♂

I think cыграть is used when you're going to play something for the first time, something you've never played before. But I might be wrong

Сыграть mostly is used to play music. Поиграть mostly is used for games and not professional sport. Играть is for all of them including professional sport as well.

Поиграть - просто время провести. Сыграть - как последний раз, важная игра. Подыграть - притвориться, играя определённую роль, не раскрывая скрытые мотивы такой ситуации. Выиграть - победить. Проиграть, понятно. Заиграться - уйти в игру не контролируя время и т.д. и т.п.

I dont understand how its different than saying : Я играл [два часа] . Does that just focus on the process instead? is it incorrect or when is one better than the other? confusing

Сложно сказать, тут тонкая грань. Как вариант: Я играл в контер-страйк, поэтому не мог ответить (был занят игрой). Сегодня я поиграл с котом и сделал уборку (совершил законченные действие)

Потому, что это несовершенный вид, подразумевается, что игра не заканчивается. А если был бы матч, то "сыграть".

А если заиграть? Ну типо заиграть чутка и бросить, типо уходить надо но и заиграть хотел так с пацанами по быстрому. Чтоб потом ПЕРЕиграть их, или РАзыграть их на эмоции веселые., или вообще Уиграть их в 0. Ха? Как ты это объяснишь иностранцу

Здесь походил в значении "был похож " -это imperfective . Но если сказать, что кто-то походил по пляжу, то это perfective , так как он ходил по пляжу и завершил действие.

Прикольно получилось, Федор такой говорит - По - past or future, а затем пацан на площадке говорит - "Я поигрываю в баскетбол". #facepalm, finish, приехали. Как мы на этом говорим.... Но оттенков, вроде, покраше, придостаточно.😅
