SOUTHERN-STYLE CRAB CAKES INGREDIENTS:
1 lb regular lump crabmeat
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped poblano pepper, seeded
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg, lightly beaten
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp whole grain mustard
Several dashed of hot sauce
1 scallion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp Italian parsley, chopped
3/4 cup fresh bread crumbs
2 tbsp vegetable oil
