Yes finally someone talking about cool blue base! I’m cool toned but all cool tone foundations are too pink for me and they actually make me look pink and weird. I’m so excited I had to pause to write this comment. 😂 I really wanna try this foundation but I suffer from migraines so I’m worried about the scent, I think I’ll have to try and get hold of sample and see.

I want to try it too for the blue tone aspect! I always thought I was cool toned but recently I was matched to a neutral/WARM foundation and I really like it so now I don't know what to think!

Apparently Huda made the packaging plastic so that she could put a lot of good skin care ingredients in it without making the price too high. I don't know about the ingredients being bad for your skin because one person can say "this ingredient is awful for your skin" while the next person greatly benefits from that same ingredient. So I think people just need to try things and figure out what does and doesn't work for them. Another great video!

Thank you 💖💖 Yeah I can understand that, except adding fragrance to any skincare or makeup product instantly undoes any good skincare benefits that may be in the bottle because it’s an irritant so not quite sure where Huda was going with that!

I'm obsessed with this foundation! It's basically perfect. I wear Angel Food and am about NW10 in MAC. The color isn't pink based but it looks great on me. It wears so long and well and I get flawless coverage (with sponge or brush) with just one pump. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on it!

In Aus Sephora according to the workers we only got 10 of the shades sent to us from Huda and they were all the medium ones.

Thanks!! Haha everyone thinks the close ups were natural light, but sadly not! They're in my bedroom at like 10pm at night haha but the bulbs in my lamps are daylight bulbs! either way, the foundation produces a gorgeous finish!

I got a sample pack of this in a recent Sephora order but the colour was about 400 shades to dark! But it did look lovely on though, will definitely need to pick up a proper sample in the right shade!

Thanks so much for this review!! I was hoping you would do this one. I have a very pink undertone (KVD Lock It 42 is a perfect match but annoying to work with), do you think Milkshake would be the best bet? The break out incredients concern me, or make me wonder if its people overreacting. Thanks again for reviewing this one xx

For an occassional foundation, it would be fine! I'll still use mine for going out etc! Milkshake will be pale enough as it's about the same level of pale-ness, but it's a little less pink (think beige, with hardly any strong undertone!)

How does the shade milkshake compare to estee lauders double wear in 1C0 shell? Its my closest shade match but I'm super wanting to try this out! (I know this video was released a while ago, but I've watched and rewatched it trying to make up my mind)

No worries! I’d say Milkshake is a shade lighter than 1C0 Shell - it’s close in shade to 0N1 Alabaster!

Arna, is there information about the blue undertone available?? Do you know of any other foundation products that have a shade like "milkshake"? I get terrible migraines from scent so I am nervous about trying the Huda foundation. I've always had trouble with my undertone. It is definitely neutral but the blue undertone would make sense.

Well, I learnt about that explanation of the undertone from Huda’s website :) just google Huda Beauty Undertone. Not sure of any other foundations for blue undertone at this stage, but I will definitely do research and find a few to suggest in a later video!

Looks great on you. I tried angel food, the coverage was phenomenal, it did end up breaking me out. Plus I have super oily skin so it didn't last very long on me. I do have a sensitivity to some fragrances, it didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. I would recommend trying it out, wish it would have worked for me.

I just bought the milkshake. The other ones were the wrong undertone. When I first put it on I thought I was a ghost 👻 but after it set, it’s a beautiful color and tone!! I’m really shocked. Huda and Fenti have the best fair shades. Also, I didn’t even smell the scent. Idk why people are bothered... but I’m in an Arab country and we LOVE our crazy perfumes. 😍 And I love the plastic because we love to travel. I’ve broken so many foundations because they try to be fancy. 🙄 she understands convenience.

Neither?? Haha both have downsides. The Jouer is almost too full coverage for my liking and can look ageing on the skin/isn’t a great colour match either. But the huda has such a strong fragrance added that it did end up breaking me out :( I would recommend the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24hr for a long wearing full coverage foundation :)

I think you and I must have the exact same skin tone! From comparing foundations it seems like we are the same level of paleness, and I struggle with my undertone too because people tell me I look cool but the cool foundations look way too pink on me (and warm ones are way too yellow), so I always end up going for neutral ones. I wonder if I have a blue undertone as well now??

I'm thinking I'm the same way -- finally changed from true cool tones to neutral toned and that helped a lot (with Arna's help of course) :) I wonder what a blue-toned one would look like...

I’m considering getting this for special occasions, it definitely wouldn’t be something I’d wear everyday. I think Angel Food might be a slightly better match for me with my warmer undertones. Next time I’m near a Sephora I’m going to have a look.

Ah, yes I should've included that one (it's always a struggle picking a few foundations for the comparison). It's about the same pale-ness, and perhaps a fraction less pink than Illamasqua SB02 xx

Sorry if you mentioned it already but what skin type are you? I just ordered this and have the most awkward combination skin that's both dry and flaky (even after a good exfoliator/moisturiser) yet gets oily throughout the day pretty quick, so I'm wondering how this would hold up! Foundations for oily skin cling to dry patches of my skin yet foundations for dry skin make me too oily, it's a pain. I'm also close to the lightest fenty shade so hoping the lightest shade in this may be even better. Great review! Xxx

Does anyone know if the Maybelline Fit Me foundation shades differ from the squeezy tube packaging here in the UK and the glass bottles? I managed to order the glass bottle version of 110 online, but it was too dark, so I then tried the shade in 100 in the squeezy tube and I swear they are identical. Are shades in the squeezy tubes darker? I actually think I'm a shade darker than Arna, yet for me Maybelline 100 in the squeezy tubes (which is supposed to be the lightest right?) is too dark. So confused haha

Squeezy tunes are definitely darker! As you said, 100 in the tube is about 110 in the bottle. 102 in the bottle (which I love and recommend), is much lighter x

I have the EXACT same problem as you! I own 100 as well and it is a touch too dark. I have no clue where to get the glass bottles from though? Are you planning to get it? If you do please let me know where it was from as I can't find them anywhere in the UK!

The tube version now has the shade 095. I haven't tried it yet, but I want to. 100 is a bit too dark for me too and too yellow. 095 seems more neutral and fairer.

I have sensitive skin and I found it irritated my skin after wearing it for a few days. I thought it was the talc because none of my other foundations have talc but maybe it was the fragrance.

More than likely the fragrance. Talc is quite common in foundations (usually what makes them oxidise!) but excessive fragrance is proven to be an irritant!

This looks really pretty but fragrance, along with Talc, put it on the "probably not" category for me. Add to that the fact that it's not sold in stores which leads me to wonder why stores can't send a sample with your order and that way, you could try the sample and only use the foundation if it actually works... I think undertones are so tricky - kind of like women's jeans, lol. Have a lovely day :)

whatevenlayla ... I tried the Ordinary 1.0 and it was okay. The color was a hint "off" ... I don't really know how to describe it. It didn't look terrible but not as flattering as other foundations. I will use the bottle I have for days where I'm not going anywhere but want to try new makeup looks. That being said, the price cannot be beat. The Ordinary is coming to Sephora which will make it easier to access.

I recently bought 1.0p of the full coverage foundation and I really like it. If you are really fair, it’s nothing for you. It’s like Mac nc10 or urban decay 0.5, not the fairest foundation on the market.

Actually B stands for Beige not Blue. That foundation has a Beige undertone. It says so with the shade descriptions on the Sephora website.

I think that the foundation breaks me out. I got the worst deep cystic acne that have had in years. I normally can use fragranced foundations but some silicone based foundations break me out badly ( maybe dimethicone).

Bummer I kinda wanted that one but it looks no where near pink enough for me. I haven't tried it yet because my local Sephora is always sold out. I wish they made pink drops to add to foundations so I can wear them. lol

I know a lot of girls that would spend a decent amount on getting the right tone. I cant wear a lot of foundation's just because their not pink enough like the Kat Von D L42 on me I look like a ashy corpse but for some it's too pink. There should be three neutralizing, pinking and warming. I'd be rich if i was rich enough to make them lol

Have you looked at Temptuu's website? They have a lot of color correcting drops for $46 (US) so you may be able to email them and see what would help :)

Makeup Forever makes great mixing drops to make anything warmer, cooler, lighter, darker etc. And you can choose water or oil based! I find them on the Sephora website, they're called Chromatic Mixers. They have red, blue, yellow, white, black, and green I believe.

Belby Blasphemy i had mentioned temptu as they have a whole set on sale for $46. Hoping it didn't come out as $46 for one, lol. Have you tried the ones from mufe? I think I need a blue mixer at this point to help make things a little more olive-tone but they are always sold out.

My skin is shade 41 Neutral. It does look a little too matte or dry on my skin though. Wish it came in a thinner formula with a more luminous finish. Do not like looking ghostlike - LOL😊

I really enjoy watching foundation reviews and I especially love watching your review right here 😀😍. I'm not one to love following trends either, so don't worry too much if you were behind the times when it comes to trying out new foundations 😊❤. Not sure which Huda Beauty Faux Filter Foundation colour will suit me, but let me give you a colour reference that I wear: Laneige Pore Control BB Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++ in shade 13 Ivory (Neutral) 🧡💛. Hi Arna! I did thumbs up your video, hopefully that helps. I rarely do that, let alone comment! Can you please incorporate a purely tutorial video? I've noticed that the people creating content seem to always be in a rush to review products. And at that, it's a 1 wear review. Not a week, not a month. It tens to be a race so the quicker video gets up the more reviews the content creator receives. Alot of people say they miss the old KZfaq. I perceive it as missing tutorial style videos. I know I do! Like how exactly to apply shadow for a winged out effect, how to use shadows as a smidgy sultry liner, how different application points for blush or bronzer can change the look of your face shape, proper blending of shadows and base,.... Just really "old school" tutorials I would be super excited to see! Or do another small series of tutorials for applying base and tips and tricks, one for eyes tips and tricks, one for blush and brozer, etc. Everyone is just kind of doing same thing itd be nice to see something different.

i think the 120b vanilla could actually be a better match for you, this looks too pale on you, almost like a mask.

It matches my neck incredibly well. Don't be fooled by the flushing on my chest from the hot lights, this colour is perfect.

Your face looks very pale in comparison to your neck, your neck looks very pink and your face looks yellow toned. it looks funny and i dont mean this in a rude way, I have this issue with this foundation too and I am also cool toned and very fair, usually the first shade. It just looks too light and i don't know why, the next one is too dark. I don't know what to do because I love it but it looks the same on me. I am sure it is better in person, but it drives me nuts on myself and i honestly am at a loss on what to do. It's doesn't look quite right. I am dragging it down the neck for now.

Yeah it’s my Lighting & camera that makes my face look much lighter than my neck/chest. In person, my neck is the lightest part of my upper body x

I am seeing it on almost every other pale persons videos too. I def think the light bounces off of it but also I think why it looks sort of odd is because the coverage is so high so im gonna try using as little as I can tomorrow. I tried every shade and typically I am the lightest, blanc in hourglass stick is my usual but for some reason these look too pale or something, they are just off. I tried them all and settled on angel food, then i just kept going up but it gets too dark so maybe it just isnt for me. It's like it just needs a tiny bit of flesh tone added or something. It looks so perfected on the skin though and it last forever, and holds blush on well so I am hoping to make it work. You are the only channel that I can get a good idea of a foundation on so I jumped over here to see how it looked x I'm glad to know it's lighting. I noticed it looks odd on me in photos so maybe in person it isn't as bad as i think it is on me. x
