Matchday revenue is not irrelevant. It's around £80m for LFC.

Man United average match day revenue is 3.7 million per home game , liverpools is now 4.4 million since the extension so I don’t know what they’re on about

Matchday gate revenue made by top 15 clubs in 2023 Manchester United €128m (£109.46m) €3.8 (£3.25m) so revenue 110m call it so 110m divided by 632m so 1, 6th of revenue no where near 25% around 16.6%

Either way with the new 90K seater and the same revenue from other sources. its close to 20% of the total revenue which is huge. An extra 22mil per season just on gate revenue is massive for keeping facilities upgraded. Just keep improving the area around New Old Trafford(name pending) build a museum for United etc. All this means more people visiting, more money from shops belonging to the club and other businesses
