Funny thing is Wolverine has instant healing which means his muscles instantly recover just as he puts strain on them…hmm interesting how that would work. Would he always be lean or build up like a strongman? It’s the reason Wolverine can smoke cigars and not get lung cancer or drink alcohol and never become intoxicated.

Consider that he also carries a huge amount of weight with his skeleton, and is usually very active. Simply getting out of bed or walking should be a workout, so when you combine it with fighting, running, climbing and lunging, it starts to make more sense.

That’s a good point but it’s diluted by the fact that at base he’s super humanly strong. And then instant healing could cause hyper growth or almost none. He should probably end up exactly the size he needed to be for whatever was the heaviest thing he’d lifted. So without an internal limiter, if he keeps trying to lift up an ocean liner then he might eventually be able to do it but he might look like a huge ball of muscle🤓

I'm foing to start training on May 1st for a fan film I'm working on. It's a fan film based on Stephen King's book IT and I'm the screenwriter, director, and will be playing a role in it. However, I am going to bulk up a bit for the role, as I am quite a skinny guy. And besides, it's time for me to gain some muscle. And I would love to have that godly, muscular, stunning tone and physique of Hugh Jackman's Wolverine because my character in it is a rather strong character.

Train heavy, hard and often, lean protein and high glycemic carbs around workout...he can't get that big natural that quick...not saying test but... plus the amount of calories needed every day without gaining fat

Huge? His biceps maxed out around 16 inches. That's not bad but honestly it's not huge. The lesson is that body fat percentage MATTERS. He looks bigger because he's LEAN. I'm bigger than he is, but don't look it because I'm not lean. (Working on it!)

Actually more sets does not mean more muscle. Check out Professor Bart Kay (exercise scientist) who has trained military and professional athletes. Bart Kay knows what he’s talking about since even myself who is certified personal trainer and have been working out for 38 years.

@@ParisDemers show me the most recent science. I gave you the YT guy Professor Bart Kay who is an exercise scientist along with nutrition scientist as well as a cardiovascular pathophysiologist. I always thought I knew what would create hypertrophy, well I was wrong. Also depends on the person. I notice you are trying to sell stuff so there is that aspect. One doesn’t build muscle in the gym, it is built during recovery. If you destroy an entire house (metaphor for the muscles) it takes the builders longer to rebuild and make stronger. If you just chip away at it little by little the muscles recover faster. Mike Mentzer was and still is the only IF B pro bodybuilder to get a perfect 300 during the Mr. Olympia. He did maybe 1 all out set to failure per body part. 6 time Mr. Olympia followed suit as well. Again show me the science. Bart Kay, like I explained before, trained military and professional athletes. I applied what he suggested after working out 38 years to include a personal training certificate and I was open minded enough to try what he did with these military folk and pro athletes. All being foreign, true, but at the end of the day all the same species.
