I enjoyed your video last year and this year. My family has hunted public in Florence county I.e. fence for hundred years.. we had great year we got five bucks …a 9,8,7 and two spikes ..interesting enough we got all our bucks from Wednesday on..out of five of us nobody saw more than four deer ..I guess we saw the right ones! Really enjoy these videos and the struggle of Florence county hunting

Great video! Tough year for everyone in this state this year. Many reasons for that I'm sure, but we all still had fun hunting and that's what matters most! I did not see a buck this year!

Great video again! Nice to see Kenny's memorial card in camp. I Archery hunt Florence county and saw some deer consistently in West Bass Lake area. Lots of illegal baiting to compete with. What a great tradition for your group.

Another great video! Awesome you guys carry on your gun deer camp traditions. Our deer camp tradition started falling apart in 2011 and is no longer something we all do together. Bummer you guys didn't get anything but I'm sure memories were made.

Yum steaks! The landowner for our deer camp buys lobster tails for us to eat the Friday before opening day each year. I love hunting traditions!

Thank you for the video. Very sorry you guys didn't get any deer.. we live just north of Milwaukee wife and I. We have 40 acres up in forest county and I solo Deer camped this year 1st time hunting Sine 2007 when I hunted on the farm I grew up on in Southern Illinois. I enjoy the camp traditions I created some this year. My wife who is very into the outdoors but never hunted before is very much thinking of hunting next year after eating deer that I got. Question you being on public land how do you insure that no one will be at or be hunting the area you hunt or be at where you put up camp?

We can never be sure. It definitely helps that we've been going there for a long time though. Generally we don't see many people walking around in the area we hunt. I have noticed a LOT more road hunting in our area in recent years though.

We all got tags there in the northern forest this year, never in the past 10 years. Didn’t go north of the hwy though stayed south of 64.

Her name is Rosie and she is 5 years old; she was rescued as a fawn only a few days old. We love her dearly! She's always been free but we put an orange collar on her in hopes no one shoots her. She has had a fawn(s) every year including 2 sets of twins.

It’s been that way for a long, long time. Usually in the north where we are bucks are still rutting during our gun season. Can do a lot of hunting during the rut with the bow though. Thanks so much for watching!! 👊👊👊
