I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of your good friend, but thankful to hear you're recovering and doing much better. Thank you for all of you and your team's contributions to those of us out here who also like to cook great food but aren't as naturally talented. Best wishes to you, your family and to Dennis' family as they continue to walk through a tough time in their lives.

Hey Gary, welcome to the OCH club! (Old China Hand). They told me after my first visit, that once you've experienced HK, you're in the club. I'd sure like to "renew" my membership, though... Haven't been back since Sept, 2001.

don't know if you remember but we chatted just after your heart attack. . I had just had a Stent put in at the same time. . I'm still kicking but struggle with weight loss. it's hard for me any thoughts on doing heart healthy dishes or maybe diabetic dishes. . either way good luck in everything you do

I do Bill! It is a tough struggle for everyone in many different ways. I was surprised with my own struggles - you know, the it never can happen to me and I am superman stuff :-) Hard lessons learned. This has never solely been a "beef" channel so you know there will be lots of healthy grilled recipes coming!

Glad your doing well and very sorry to hear about you buddy. Can't wait to see new vids. I just finished smoking a brisket and pork butt at 3:30am I was so tired I started seeing double. I love cooking everything outdoors!
