When there are four corvettes for sale, then you have to go an at least buy one of them. What would you do with this one if it was yours?
If interested in a TheCorvetteBen KZfaq Channel window decal, please send $5 through PayPal to Benjamin.friend56@yahoo.com. If you are international, please contact me first about price!

Well, since you asked...my vote is to put an engine in it, replace what's missing, clean it up and make a runner out of it.

_Good solid buildable '76 Stingray(and the last year for the Stingray nameplate). The white and green interior is pretty rare for 1976, (plus it has several nice options too). I say put it back together Ben, as the C3 is really your specialty._

Looks to be video material! If you got the time put it back together you said you had all the parts you needed. Looks to be in better shape than the one you pulled out of the field that had set for years. Go for it😊

Heck yeah, save that car. Save every C3 you can. I'd love to see that interior all cleaned up - I wonder if the original owner had a matching leisure suit.

My opinion - a car that solid deserves to be on the road again. Especially if you can throw together another L48 from your stock. Heck, I see L48 parts and engines on pallets about once a month when I'm looking around it seems.

Ben, I was assistant service manager at a very busy Chevy dealer in 1976. I never saw a white 76 with white seats and green carpets. Has to very rare combo. Too bad not an L82 stick. I say part it. Frame worth likely what you paid. Another great video.

Hmm… 76 generally aren’t worth a ton but if you have the time it would be a perfect candidate to resto mod since it’s missing it’s original engine and transmission. If you don’t have the time, I’d sell it mostly as is. It’s too nice and complete of a car to part out.

Just like me, a lot of PATRIOTS like anything made in 1976, BICENTENNIAL AMERICAN CAR. That’s the only reason I chose my 1976. Not to mention that it was made the day I was proudly accepted to come to America LEGALLY, 3/9/1976. Unfortunately I’m selling it.

_Once a very long time ago they were. '76 was a watershed year for the Corvette milestone. Originality is always best with any C3. Haven't heard of too many resto-mod C3s, except maybe for the very first few model years thru '73._

My favorite years are 1974-1977. I have a fortune tied up in a '76. It's not an investment. It's what I wanted. I don't really care what its monetary value is, only what it means to me. To me, white '74-'77 Corvettes are the most beautiful cars even made.

You probably already started, but I'd say put it together with all your parts. It must be worth more than it's parts this way + you get some content to show. How far you go is of course up to you, but at least to functioning and driveable condition. Much easier for a new owner to take over a ratty, but complete car, and much easier to ship it.

I have a complete car, 1976 Stingray with a restored title that all it needs is a paint job. It runs great and all, with new carpet and new door panels, about $4,000.00 in new parts including the paint and clear coat that costed $899.00 a gallon, and the car is probably ready for primer. I just listed it for sale because the painter took my money and now tells me that he can’t see to guarantee a good paint job. Yeah, he got paid. I’m asking $7,000.00 and all I get is trade offers. Arizona sucks. People here are broke or cons.
