I bought my wife her first new Lexus! My wife has been my rock throughout our immigration to the US and throughout our life! She was actually the reason I started my KZfaq Channel.
In this video we say good bye to her old car which many of you have not seen before then we reveal our newest addition to the family!
I'll share with you the reasons why we chose this specific car, how we got it at MSRP in this tough car market.
Then we'll do the first service of the car and more.

That's the thing. If you can fix your own cars, then you can buy and enjoy luxury SUVs, sports cars like mercedes, BMW, Audi, and others, of course. All cars will break down and will last as long as you maintain them. But if you have the gift to fix them, then its a bonus and affordable. No need to buy them new.

Congrats brother! You are the definition of the american dream! You have literally worked your way to the top! You helped inspire me for my love of toyota/lexus. By age 28, i could barely change my tires because i was a knucklehead as a young man. Im finally becoming the man i need/should be, and i thank you for dumbing down such complicated machines for a super beginner like myself! @@unebonnevie Only water pump and timing belt a few times. Pennzoil platinum oil changes often, along with all other fluids. Nothing major. Southern vehicle so no rust.

@@ShruteFarms001 Yes, this was my local Toyota Dealership in Oregon. There’s a lot of components that need to be removed to access the plugs, but even still, I was able to complete the work in 5 hours, and that was my first time touching the Toyota V6. Wouldn’t have been able to do it without Mr Car Care Nut. Now if he can do a video on tensioner and tensioner pulley replacement, I’ll be set for hopefully many miles to come,

Yup thats the typical price on the dealerships especially on the v6 engines. I maintained my friends Toyotas from Prius, Camry, Highlanders,4runner from spark plugs to vital fluids and suspensions. They bought this 2001 Highlander when their child is in kindergarden and now a practicing Engineer and still driving that 2001 Highlander, almost they give it up but I said I will try to revive it. 2023 now and the car still doing strong except for a busted brake bulb.

My wife has dreamed of owning a GX for many years. We have owned three Toyota 4Runners, a '91, '93 and 2021. They never stop running ! We are turning 70 this year and I wanted to make her dream come true. Just before Christmas I bought her a 2023 GX460 at $6k below MSRP. They only had 8 left. She is so happy and I'm hoping it runs as long as a 4Runner and as trouble free. It's a Base Model with the interior upgrades including Captains Chair and Mark Levinson Stereo. The ride quality is so much better for us and we can take one car when going places with our kids and grandkids.

I bought a 2014 GX about 4 years ago for my wife. You are spot on about the old school style as being a MAJOR selling point. I hate having to learn all the crap that are built into modern cars. The simple interface makes it a JOY to live with.

Video @ 13:01 "no electronic parking brake" - THAT'S A GREAT THING ! - I've heard that when a major power failure occurs (accident, totally flat battery etc.) you can't turn-on or turn-off your brakes ! - Plus, in the rare event where you lose your brakes, an emergency manual style brake will function. - I own a 2021 Lexus ES and I hate the electronic brake system...

Congrats, my wife is on her 5th Lexus. Currently in a GX too. You should have folding mirrors, mirror switch there is a toggle on top. Flip it to the left to fold the mirrors in.

If my dad passed I would keep his blue 2018 Prius Yea nothing special but he keeps it in perfect condition and brags about how much he loves it and so many reasons why he likes it better then his past 2 Prius. He won’t upgrade this one like I had with past 2 after 5 years he traded up. Now this one he bought new and wants to hang onto it.

I’ve a 2022 Lexus GX Premium Plus Package with Captain’s Chairs (purchased because of your rave reviews). Although the mirrors do not fold automatically when locking the door, a feature I loved in my RX, you can fold them with a button on the driver side door. On mine at least, you don’t have to manually fold each mirror in.
