@@user-vj6tb1sp7m - But it does because longer legs turning over at the same speed as shorter legs mean longer strides and covering more ground with the same effort. That's also why Bolt is so quick. He's 6'5" and his legs cover a lot more ground than most of his opponents. They have to take faster strides to cover the same ground. Bolt's strides are lightning as it is. Even trying to match his leg turn over speed is hard enough.

She is talented look at her power it's obvious she just breezes by the competition. She's already broken world records in both 100m & 200 meters by a significant margin those old record she shattered them. Even coming from behind then opening the gap. She's already demonstrated by comparison that she's on a completely different level. It's inevitable that what ever country that she's up against she'll be a dominating force. Unless there's another woman that can beat those numbers she's gonna easily win multiple gold metals in my opinion.

Also, why claim she's using roids and not accuse SAFP and Elaine of using them, given they've never come anywhere close to the times they're running this year. I'm not accusing them of such, FYI, but just saying...how can you claim ShaCarri is doping when she's been a huge winner since grade school, and is very consistent, unlike others here aside from SAFP?!?

@@PrettyFLY4aWiFi. I think you need to correct your thought process on what folks are using here. Folks haven’t used roids since the 80’s or possibly early 90’s. There are tons of other things many, maybe most athletes use, that don’t assist them as much as roids, but, help them in training and recovery. Essentially, helping them build the physical traits that allow them to train longer & harder, as well as have more endurance. None of this is roids, and they must still put in major training. The sneaky stuff they use today that pass drug tests don’t have the extreme results of roids. So, when you see an amazing performer who may be using some type of enhancement, please note, the enhancements only go as far as the hard work the athlete actually puts in, and allows them to reach their peak potential based upon that hard training! I totally get what you’re saying here, and you’re not exactly “wrong”! I just tread gently with the topic.

Certainly one of my favorites in the short sprints BUT for one caution: that she hasn't peaked too early given the extremely long Olympic year season. Wish her the best for this season and look forward to seeing her progression. Thanks again "and always" TRP another another great video.

It was a MISSED opportunity. The track was FAST. And with the form she was in. I think she would have pushed Thompson hard. If not beat her. Everyone was bringing down their PBs on that track. I have no doubt Richardson would have improved her 10.72.

It's bc US best athletes play sports for real money. Lol. Jamaica doesn't have an NFL or NBA or MLB. Etc etc... if we groomed the LeBron James', Tyreek Hills, and many many more to be sprinters, I'd feel pretty confident US would compete more with Jamaica for the fastest man/woman on earth. I've always said this same thing about soccer. US would have a far better chance at the World Cup if our top athletes played soccer. But they don't. Lol.

@@alexp8785 I mean that's tough to say. Basketball is pretty big in Europe and teams can barely hang with US Olympic squads. And I know what you're gonna say, the US has actually been challenged in the Olympics lately. And that's only bc the US Olympic squad is like our D or even E squad. Most of the 20 best players don't even play in the Olympics. If LeBron, Harden, Curry, etc played it wouldn't even be close. Like when the dream team dominated.
