A cut lip isn't covered by lipstick, that's absolute delusion.

I’m a professional makeup artist and if this artist is covering open wounds like split lips then she is an extremely unprofessional and dirty artist. As a makeup artist we are taught to turn away any client with open wounds or sores. This is an extreme health hazard and will contaminate the artist’s tools and products. She would have to throw away all her stuff just to serve this one client. Also no, you cannot cover a split open lip with lipstick. I’ve put on lipstick on models with extremely dry lips and no matter how much I try moisturizing sometimes it’ll still show and need help in edit. So imagine what a large chunk of skin missing that has scabbed over will look. Covering it will look obvious and horrendous. We cannot cover texture! And even if it somehow manages to hide anything it’ll just split open again and bleed. Also a bruise kit is an industry term for a makeup kit that creates bruises, not hide them. She’s obviously lying, since the stylist testified she saw no wounds and you can see photos days after with amber’s skin looking flawless without makeup. She also had no swelling which is not possible with the injuries in which she describes

I've had my nose broken 1 year and 4 months ago. Apart from the fact that I still have the scar and the bone never healed completely, it was impossible for me to lean forward or do any sort of sudden movement with my head and NOT FEEL PAIN AND NAUSEA. Amber wants the entire world to believe that in those condition she was able to have parties, attend talk shows, and just "heal it off" without any medical attention.....BS!!!!!!

As a makeup artist, she should know the difference between color corrector and a bruise kit, a bruise kit is used for special effects and creates the effect of a bruise and a color corrector wheel covers discoloration. To me this is her admitting to being skilled in creating bruises with a bruise kit.

They should call her dermatologist to testify…. About Botox, fillers, procedures and injection sites, bruises etc

I’m a doctor and trained to recognise sign of physical aggression so I can trigger police a investigation if suspected. These bruises are weeks old and not at all compatible with a recent aggression. They are instead compatible with post Botox, post check implant, post nose filler, post hair extension. Unfortunately I don’t think they can ask to her plastic surgeon to testify without her consent in respect of private privacy patient’s rights. Same about bank transfers to pay the bills. Also, it’s obvious that the pictures are not taken on the same day. Take metadata to check. And ask a general plastic surgeon to bring pictures of his patients bruises and compare to typical trauma bruises.

I’m a makeup artist, you cannot cover a cut or open wound with makeup. Because the makeup will literally not cover over it. It will be patchy and the makeup will seep through. Not to mention visible texture. Also, it is an infection risk if you were to put anything like makeup on a cut lip, considering I have had chapped lips in the winter. Bruises are easier to cover and easy to make. But most bruises when they are fresh are dark brown and purple. And you would need a thicker color corrector when you conceal those. Not to mention concealer and foundation is helpful in those instances too. You would be able to tell she has makeup on. And given that Amber Heard doesn’t wear a lot of makeup, this doesn’t seem likely that she would be “covering” anything.

And how do two people, both makeup artists, both who saw AH on the same day, have completely different recollections of how she looked. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

So the makeup artist “I couldn’t possibly remember the shade ..it’s five years ago”. Two minutes later. “It was an orange shade..a different beige”. Really???!!

7:40 she has a wheel, a bruise wheel. When you buy a bruise makeup kit they are used to CREATE scars, scratches, blood markings, bruises for theatrical purposes, NOT HIDE BRUISES. And according to Amber: "I used a bruise kit, NOT a bruise kit. A theater makeup kit. A color correction kit. I call it my bruise kit" I hope JD's lawyers caught this.

When you can clearly tell a witness has been coached on what to say is a sickening feeling i hope the jury feels the same thing.

The make-up artist accidentally says "It looked like Amber had a light head-butt" & then later said she misspoke. Yes she was coached!

No professional make-up artist would ever apply make-up to an open wound, this woman should have her certification revoked!

I've never heard a makeup artist refer to a color corrector kit as "bruise wheel". She was instructed to use that term.

Sorry, but you can’t cover deep bruises with drug store cosmetics. You would need stage makeup to conceal dark bruises. This woman is going out of her way not to answer. What happened to the judge saying”just answer yes or no please”.

I lost credibility on the make-up artist when she said she could pin point AH bruises on her face but when shown the picture she rectified "I did not see any bruising" lol

Ive SEEN someone whos face was ACTUALLY beaten. He was completely unrecognizable and it took like 6 weeks to completely heal. There is absolutely no way she was beaten to the point that she's claiming. Swelling DOES NOT disappear in 24hours even with ice.

You can tell she's a make up artist by the way she "makes up" stories and imaginary injuries.

As a cosmetologist we learned that you don't put makeup on cuts or abrasions eventhough that should be common sense. That goes for hair as well they're certain treatments you shouldn't do at those times. she could've risked AH of an infection or a bad reaction because her lip was supposedly cut/gashed and you dont know what that product would've done that was not professional and besides you would still see the cut or split or whatever you want to call it . thats how you know that this story is crazy. also swelling like that doesn't just go down that quick. so many of these ppl can't even get their fictions together

This is such BS. I've been a makeup artist since 2009 and literally no one has ever called a color corrector palette a "bruise wheel." Literally NO ONE. Women that go shopping for color correctors usually aren't trying to cover bruises, it's usually dark circles or redness. Even when I got a side job and I worked at Sephora, no one ever came in ONCE and asked for a bruise wheel. I went to school for Special FX makeup also. The only time in my career that anyone ever spoke about a bruise wheel is when I was actually CREATING bruises on someone for special fx things. That is only ONE product in this entire industry that is referred to as a bruise wheel, and it's the wheel of colors used when CREATING bruises. As far as I'm concerned, Amber was used to having the bruise wheel around because that's what she used to create these bruises for the pictures, and then she slipped up on the stand and called her color correctors a bruise wheel. Now she has to play it off, and she's getting her MUA to call it that also to play it off. Also, I don't do makeup much anymore and now I'm a photographer and editor, and I promise you 100% her picture just had the saturation and vibrancy turned up on it to make her look more red. You can tell by the color of her hair and the unchanging tone of the wall in the background.

If AH ever had a mark on her face, I think it's obvious at this point that she's more than crazy enough and quite capable of self inflicted injuries. I don't believe a word she or her people say about JD. She's gone way too far with her accusations and has been caught in way too many lies.

A makeup artist would never call a color correcting kit a "bruise wheel". Correcting kits, what AH showed, are more commonly used to cover acne, dark circles, and minor "flaws" - not bruises. That terminology is unique to AH. Edit: a "bruise wheel" would be a SFX (special effects) makeup product to CREATE bruises, not cover them up, as explained by others in the comments!

I think this make-up artist got her degree at Hogwarts. If she can cover up a broken nose with some peach color she is truly a magician and can make millions in the world of contact sports.

When she describes the spots where she saw inquiries you can tell she was trying to remember a picture or something that was told to her. It doesn't come out naturally.

DARK DISCOLORATION UNDER HER EYES and that dark spot under AH's right eye could be resulting from getting BOTOX injections according to her penthouse neighbor. The neighbor claims that she also gets those dark discoloration around her eyes after getting BOTOX injections. Maybe that explains that one small dark spot (possible injection site) under her right eye along with general discoloration around it.

Her “injuries” just don’t match the level of violence she claims was perpetrated against her. They just don’t.

AH saying she “probably had a broken nose” made me LOL, clearly she has never seen an actual broken nose, the swelling and redness/bruise does not go down in 24h, freaking impossible. 🤦‍♀️

This womans testimony is obviously slanted. The smile she gives when asked to look at Amber's pic tells the whole story.

Professional makeup artist here. Let’s go ahead and dissect this MUA’s depo. First and foremost, if you are trying to cover up swelling, the last thing you are going to do is use a highlight to do so. There just is no covering up swelling! Secondly, a freshly busted lip is uncover-able. The skin on the lips are extremely delicate and different from the skin on the face. Unless she used disposable lip wands which I doubt since it was 2015 and wasn’t a requirement for makeup kits, then this MUA is bogus. Because we aren’t supposed to use anything to cover up or conceal open wounds. Thirdly, any professional MUA knows the difference between color corrector and a bruise wheel. There aren’t ANY colors on a bruise wheel that you would use to shade in anything after using a peach tone concealer to cover up a bruise mark. That doesn’t make the slightest bit of sense whatsoever! A bruise wheel/kit is only for creating a bruise or some kind of blemish! This is another slip up! And it is mighty funny NONE of these ppl are involved with her anymore. Yet they are here to testify lies on her behalf. There something fishy going on. Maybe she promised them a payout but I wouldn’t sacrifice my credibility for some money.

Yellow bruising indicates healing time generally about a week after is when bruises look yellow so her story isn't adding up anyways.

I'm a DV survivor and my swelling NEVER went down in a day(s) time. Also her injuries seem self inflicted. Johnny wears bulky rings. Amber would have looked like a half dead boxer if he ever hit her. These people are disgusting 😒

So something I learned reading the comments: A bruise wheel is NOT a colour corrector kit, but a kit containing colours to CREATE a bruised look -- so the opposite of what we'd assume someone wanting to cover a bruise would use. (Edit: Originally made this comment because a lot of other comments seemed to be using this synonymous with a colour corrector kit and saying it's wrong or getting confused, so I just regurgitated what other MUA or those in the industry said in specification to what the term "bruise wheel" is used for.)

No one would take such a big risk to lie on the witness stand (especially one with as much public attention as this) if they weren't being paid very well, right? These people who are lying for Amber, which is illegal, should be punished for doing so. Also, a swollen nose can affect your breathing and the sound of your voices. A nose injury can also be too painful to scrunch your face up.... and some people get dizzy with a face/ nose injuries. No one mentioned any these symptoms from Amber?

This lady straight lied to the court. The make-up artist that was interviewed last week who helped with Amber's makeup for the James Cordon show straight up said that Amber had no injuries the day of the filming. She also said that Amber was chipper, and excited but had bags under her eyes. So what now a second makeup artist from the same crew magical saw things that other artist didn't. This ladies all over the place and the words she uses and fact that she clearly stated she didn't remember the brand of makeup she used, but then she told everyone she used a palette called "honey" because it was similar to what Amber uses daily. Charge her with perjury and lets move on.

My friend was punched twice in the face by her ex partner. He broke the bone under her eye and she had to have surgery on her nose. It’s extremely frustrating that anyone would believe this is a woman that’s been punched repeatedly in the face.

I have a question. If you get caught telling a lie under oath, then are you charged a felony for each lie you tell? So if you lie 10 times is that counted as 10 felonies

As someone who constantly has a split lip, you cannot cover it up with make up. If you put anything other that medication/med. crème on top, you'll probably end up with an infection. And you would still see the split through the lipstick. The only way would be to cover it up with some prosthetics but the glue? No way is anyone putting that glue on a wound

I’ve been assaulted on the street several times, and I can tell you, the bruising and swelling lasts for at least a week, even from one punch to the face, let alone cuts.

Lack of sleep can cause the eyes to swell, crying can cause the eyes, cheeks and nose to be red. A cut on the lip can never be covered. Try biting your own lip and it would cause a swell. I think all her injuries are self inflicted.

As a makeup artist covering cuts is totally against safety procedures. I went to cosmetology school and that is a BIG NONO. Open wounds, cold sores or anything inflamed are not to be touched. You can cause infection and or spread something to someone else. She needs a visit from the board!

A makeup artist saying she used a bruise wheel is highly anomalous. A bruise wheel is for creating a fake bruise. She hesitates when she first says she creates and covers bruises. I also don't like that they were close and she couldn't explain how she covered the gash. This is strange.

So sad to think this but I believe amber inflicted these injuries on herself as "evidence". Her injuries are all so slight, none of them match the degree of violence she describes from Johnny. It just doesn't add up. As someone with sensitive skin, it would be really easy for me to fake redness, bruising and even light swelling with an irritant cream around the eyes or picking a dry lip. Amber even said in her testimony that she has sensitive skin...

This testimony made me really uncomfortable for some reason.

I bought some Ben Nye makeup before, there is one called a "bruise wheel" used for a Halloween Costume one year (half zombie type deal) and it LOOKS REAL! it has yellow and green and blue and purple and it's super matte and looks very realistic as if it formed under the skin like real bruises do. Amber didn't look up how a real bruise looks. She just smashed some purple whatever on her cheek that one day.

Johnnys lawyers should point out that Johnny is right handed. Her injuries should have been on the left side of her face if Johnny was the one hitting her. Amber likely made those minor injuries herself.
