@@izzyella7609 yeah they probably would have found out that it was their rug if it was a real story. also there can’t be many 17 year old boys that went missing and then were found rolled up in a rug in a river with a knife wound and drowned. there’s way too many details that would make the case identifiable

Someone reached out to me anonymously to tell me that I was being cheated on. I was *so* grateful they did it. If you know, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell them. Create a fake FB profile or email address and message them. You don't have to be personally involved, but they should know the truth because infidelity is not only incredibly traumatizing, it can also be life-threatening (i.e., STIs).

I once told someone they were being cheated on. I was the other person but had no idea this man had a wife and a daughter! Basically he got caught messaging me and made up a whole story as to how I’m the one that approached him and that I didn’t care he had a wife. I told the wife the truth. I sent screenshots and even then I was called a home wrecker. These people talked negatively about me afterwards. I didn’t blame her because she wants to believe her husband, I can’t imagine what being in that position would be like. But the fact that I got blamed for it and put down for it was something I had to get over. I still don’t regret telling her. But it was a messed up thing to go through

i have told someone i didn’t know well that they were being cheated on (AND ID DO IT AGAIN) no but what amanda described literally happened to me like i was villainized to the core but when she finally came round to accept it she apologized and was grateful. i think telling someone is both the most selfless but selfish option; selfless obviously bc u are sharing knowledge u have without worrying about how the other person might take it or how it would make u look/how it would affect your social standing but also selfish bc u think ur so high n mighty bc honesty is a core moral/value that ppl like to abide by so by telling the truth no matter the outcome, it is really just to make u feel like a good person lol. i mainly do it bc i rlly hope someone would do the same for me- just like the doctor who told me i needed to lose weight...hated him in the moment (still do tbh) but i can’t be mad that i took his words to heart and made a change for the better :)

As someone who has been cheated on, If I knew for sure that someone was being cheated on, I would tell them. The emotional turmoil of being cheated on (at least for me) was rough. It caused panic attacks and lasting trauma. To each is own though. Just my opinion❤️

a GROUP of girls and i told a girl her bf was cheating on her at work (he worked with us and she didnt work there) but she didn't believe us.. whether or not they continue the relationship isn't up to us but its definitely the right thing to do. in my own experience no one told me until years later my ex had a gf the entire time (we were on and off for years) i would have loved to know and the moment i heard that any emotions i had for him died and it helped me move on completely

when i had a friend who was getting cheated on, i made an anonymous account and let her know through that. never made me the bad guy, cuz they didn't know it was me! highly recommend this if you ever run into that issue

And I told my best friend that her sisters husband was cheating on her. And they got into a divorce. My friends sister is much better now. And, she shouldn’t be stuck with someone who isn’t faithful, If that’s what she wants in a relationship. Personally I would want to know so that I could move forward with my life. And at the end of the day, it is that persons decision to continue the relationship or not.

In reference to the murder: depends on the state, ie: Texas has a stand your ground law. Where if there is an intruder in your home, you can legally use deadly force. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I worked with someone who was married and had two kids. She would come in and talk about issues she was having with him but they still stayed together. One night I was out to eat and saw her husband there with another woman and they were clearly not just friends. I struggled with what to do and I did end up telling her because I knew I would want to know too. It has been many years since this happened and I’m pretty sure he denied it at the time obviously and she stayed with him but with caution now. They are now divorced though and she seems happier than ever.

If I didn’t know the person being cheated on well, I would tell one of their close friends. If I knew them well, I’d tell them if they didn’t know yet. I’ve never had to though🤷🏾‍♂️.
