There was a yawning silence because it was a stupid and shallow thing for Meghan to say!

Meghan's constant excuse is that "I didn't know! They didn't tell me!" Well, I'd make allowances for the first time that happened. And maybe even the second. But after that, a thinking person would realize that this problem needs to be fixed at once. She had staff, including a personal assistant, I assume. If I got caught in a situation of doing the wrong thing because I didn't know what was expected, the very next day that assistant would have a new responsibility: check with the Palace before *every* event and make a list of "must dos" for every appearance. Colour of clothes, hat or no hat, high heels or flats, pantyhose, type of corsage - every single detail is to be spelled out. The Palace might get sick of the inquiries, but after getting everything right long enough, the rules would become ingrained and it wouldn't be necessary to check every time. Not the Meghan playbook, though. She was in full "You're not the boss of me!" mode from the very beginning. I think she refused to ask what the rules were because it was more palatable to pretend that she was just the startled innocent rather than having to admit that she was flatly refusing to cooperate.

So we're ment to believe Megan bought a sofa on her credit card, despite harry having 10 million in the bank left by his mom 🤣

Harry conviniently doesn´t write about the Apartment 1 he was having flipped next door to William and Catherine. He actually had the Queen move out the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester from that apartment, so it could be his. It is also the biggest apartment at Kensington Palace, bigger than William and Catherine´s. Meghan was involved in it´s renovation. But they refused to move in when they fell out with William and Catherine, since it is next to theirs, and they didn´t want to be their neighbours. That apartment is still unoccupied, fully redecorated and furnished to Harry and Meghan´s test. Nottinghan Cottage was always supposed to be a temporary dig as it had been for William, Catherine and George. So Harry and Meghan were literally following the same route William and Catherine had. Live at Nottingham Cottage while overseeing their apartment renovations, when that is over, move in and get a country House. But Harry withholds this info for his American audience. Actually not only he withholds the info, he lies in their Netflix show that he didn´t know who had lived in that cottage before! He damn well knows it was William and Catherine, and George was born when they lived there.

I have a feeling Harry's wife wrote a large amount of this book. There are certain ideas and phrases that come up in her communications multiple times, and white knuckles seem to be a firm favourite. Doria gripped the steering wheel so tight her knuckles turned white. Harry's grip was so tight that his knuckles turned white during the alleged miscarriage.. and now Catherine.

The sea off the coast of Scotland is frigid even during the summer. He would have had hypothermia in just a few minutes. Another pointless lie.

This is still about the bridesmaids dresses. Which had a lot more eyes on the dresses after the book came out. All the little girls dresses, except for one, were so big and ill fitting the tailor made the public statement they had to work 24 hours a day for 3 days to have them ready. Imagine a 2x dress needing to be tailored for Cheere. Anyway, even with all those hours of tailoring, you can see the linings longer than the dress and uneven hems. So now you know why it was a big concern for everyone but Meghan who either didn't grasp or didn't care. As long as she looked good (I guess)

The actual story about wanting the Tiara for a fitting with the hsirdresser is blown out of all proportion. Tiaras are very valuable and historical artifacts. In order for one to be taken out an appointment must be made and a security escort must be arranged to accompany the Tiara out of the premises. Harry and Meghan had not made an appointment but expected the Tiara to be handed there and then which could not be done. That was it. If they had made the appointment as required the Tiara would have been available for them as arranged!

The hair dresser flew in from Paris made me laugh. Meg did her own hair, didn't she?! what a mess.

There are always snipers at every event like this! They would be at every major political or Royal event! It would not have been just because it was Harry and Meghan!

William said something in a documentary about Diana, a reporter asked what Granny Diana would have done, and William laughed, lovingly, and said something like "she would have come in like a whirlwind at bath time, created havoc and left". That said a lot about Diana as a very young mother. She was fun, but not reliable. She had staff who took care of the boring bits. Lady Colin Campbell has written books about both Diana and H&M. She knows a lot about the Royals, since forever. William also wrote that he had protected and held Harry all their lives, but he couldn't anymore. This implies that both Diana and Harry had issues that were difficult to handle, for the most famous family, so in the public eye. Since this drama started, with the Oprah interview, I have read most of the important books on the Royals. I think that this is not just between H&M and the monarchy. It's between the left and the right, the woke between the more conservative forces. I have read Tom Bower's book Revenge, and I do look forward to that. He's extremely well put together, when it comes to facts.

There is footage of granny motioning to Meg to get into the car AFTER the aids tried to hold her back, following protocol. Granny always preferred to sit behind the driver. What really gets me is that while H writes about getting M pregnant my mind wanders off to how gross it must have been for her to be in such close proximity to his, uh I shudder…todger 🤢 I just can’t imagine M letting H get her pregnant with it! I bet she gets him drunk and high, then the next day she says “you were amazing last night, I bet we conceived” and H is none the wiser that actually no such computation took place. Who falls asleep while someone pees on a pregnancy test? Especially if they are soooo excited to become a father.

The Royal family made one real mistake. Once they couldn't convince Harold to slow down , to not get engaged so quickly was not insisting Fraud accept security for her father. Supposedly she had accepted it for Doria but not Thomas. According to Lady C they did a background check on M and would have known about how she showered her father with praise and appreciation in the Tig. They should have just given him security and they would have received reports that he was in poor health and brought him over to England even a few months before the wedding. When M protested they could have said don't worry we know you declined trying to be mindful of costs.

Love your laughter at the petty jealousy of Harry and Meghan at William and Kate’s home! Harry had obviously been in their home before! So what Meghan opened his eyes!!

Saying the raising of the colors was "colourful " is trite and inappropriate. Some genuine appreciation of tradition might have been appreciated. Especially, if this was Kate extending an olive branch after Megan's selfish and inconsiderate behavior before the wedding. That could have been a smug Megan faux pas.

That conversation was so confusing that it makes me think they are leaving things out, the things that make them look bad. If that wasn’t the case, they would have come up with a complete and more cohesive lie. For instance, William and Catherine may have given them an Easter present, and mentioned it to point out that they were making an effort to be friendly. They may have also pointed out that Harry and Megan were making no such effort, not with the intention of saying that they specifically expected a present in return. Then of course, H&M could have easily run with this and said, “How could we have known you wanted an Easter present? How petty of you!” It’s easy to see when you’ve dealt with manipulative people who really know how to twist your words.

On her one outing with the Queen she was told by the courtiers that the Queen would be wearing a hat. In the understated parlance of the Court that means and you should wear one too but we are too polite to tell you to do something but we expect you to pick up on it. She said she would not be wearing a hat. The press then took copious amounts of photos of her hair (ie her hair pieces) in the wind which was so unkempt it made her look untidy. She then walked in front of the Queen and took posies meant for the Queen. It was an unmitigated disaster and showed she had not taken any heed of the guidance or tutoring given to her.

I’m imaging Kate and Willy reading this chapter in bed and laughing so much…especially about the couch on Megan’s credit card and then dabbing their eyes and going to sleep. 😂

Like the hair in the box by the bed. What is wrong with these people???!!! I knew more than they do when I was in fourth grade. This episode was one of your best. Thomas Markle has a KZfaq channel and I watched several episodes which were recorded in his home in México. I’m positive that he’s in the same neighborhood where my grandparents lived after they retired! It’s between Rosarito Beach and Ensenada. The view from his patio features a rock formation that I always thought looked like a giant hippopotamus swimming along the horizon. The architecture of his house is very much like my grandparents’. I live in a mountain resort community in Southern California and it was amazing how many people I met at my grandparents’ house had vacation homes in that seaside resort and also in our mountain resort. These were affluent people. The little resort in México had tall walls along the road and a gatehouse manned by Federales - Mexican State police. Inside the gate were several tiers of cottages all overlooking the ocean and the roads were beautiful cobblestone , the retaining walls and staircases between the tiers were built of the same stone. Every cottage had a patio or terrace and lovely plantings. This was a wonderful place to visit. The idea that Harry and Meg would write it off as “a border town” disgusts me. Also, I have fond memories of walking along the footpath to the pool as a high school student with one of the Federales on patrol (carrying a rifle 😁) walking beside me and helping me practice my Spanish. Meg is so caught up in “the best of the best (the tig)” that she wouldn’t recognize the “authentic” if her father bought a house there. She is constantly chasing the elusive stamp of mass approval.

I can't see the sense of the RF not informing or guiding M in her public appearances as it reflects badly on the RF.
