Why do I feel like Harry saying Meghan didn't suffer from morning sickness is being snarky towards Kate who was always very sick from her pregnancy.

Princess Catherine has listened respectfully and learned with grace dignity and great purpose. An Arts graduate, she appreciates the history of the British monarchy and understands thoroughly it's essential place in the constitutional monarchy. She carries herself like the great royals. Raised by a nice family with top values in positive support and fun. I am so pleased for William. I am pleased KCIII has Q Camilla. The others in the RF, too, have high sense of duty to the community for which they serve, and our deepest respects for it. Harry and Meghan do not deserve their titles. We of the Commonwealth countries are truly appalled.

Can you imagine the pain that Catherine was in and then to have to deal with this ungrateful two-bit nothing. Catherine and the Queen were very close. The Queen's death had to have just paralyzed Catherine. My heart really felt for her.

Why is he always comparing his wife to his mother’s situation? His mother was in line to be Queen with far more responsibility within the royal family than Meghan would EVER have had. It’s like comparing apples to shoes. Catherine is the one that is in the position his mother was within the family 🤦‍♀️

Here in Texas we just say "That boy just ain't right in the head." Diana started the process by spoiling, and destructive parenting. When she died the spoiling and maladaptive parenting were magnified, out of concern for the two boys in their grief. William was held more responsible and accountable for his behavior which led to a normal character and personality. Harry, being naturally more stubborn, self-centered and selfish, never matured, and in fact, was allowed and excused as he developed abnormal behaviors such as his sick erotic fetish for his dead mother. Even now, he stubbornly refuses to listen to anyone as he lives a life of hatred, self pity and revenge.They've always covered for him, but his time is about up.

Let us *HOPE* his time is up, at least! I mean, seriously: if Charles gives into even ONE OF THAT BOY'S DEMANDS to accept his graciously extended invite to the Coronation, I'd MUCH RATHER see him abdicate his throne, even if he *HAS* been waiting his whole life for this, and give it up to William...

I think Diana retracted that claim. Either she didn't do it, or she did and later realised that it didn't paint her as a picture of maternal concern due to the harm she could have caused William. She is said to have pushed her stepmother, Raine Spencer, down the stairs, though.

Meghan could off somebody and Harry would talk about how amazing she was as she did it. He’s SO BLIND about her. And he keeps reading the press to see when they will see her as he does!! And no one does. As for Catherine, she already took her bashing in the media-for YEARS-and still gets called boring, and a brood mare, and lazy & never had a job. She got everything Meghan got with the exception of the racism obviously-but she got the snobbery AND she got the brutal paparazzi that Diana got and that Meghan so desperately wants.

Not only could you be wrong and sorry, but if they are actually using such a serious threat to abuse you, they should be prepared to deal with the serious consequences and convince the professionals that show up that they don’t in fact pose a danger to themselves or others. Remember, you’re not wasting the first responders’ time, they are. I can’t stand when people get their way with these tactics

A narcissist will always project their own wrongdoing onto someone else. They avoid accountability for their own bad behavior that way. If Megs is claiming her assistant was fired for taking freebies, we know it is Megs taking freebies. The assistant might have taken a freebie, nothing on the large scale as Megs, or she might not have taken any.

I haven’t fact checks the details, but from what I’ve heard… Thomas Markle kept the contents of Meghan’s letter private. Private until after something like five of Meghan’s “friends” published excerpts in a people magazine article. She wanted it leaked & when her dad didn’t do as she hoped she forced his hand. Why else would she not have sued people magazine for printing passages from her private letter? If she hadn’t had a hand in that why didn’t she?

I agree. I never saw Harry as a great academic but until he started opening his mouth so freely, I also didn't realise he had virutally no critical thinking skills. I wince at so many of the things he says because sadly, he doesn't realise that his worldview is more like that of a young teenager than a man approaching his 40's. I know many now think that he was always this nasty, jealous and spiteful individual - and they might be right - but it's also the case that if you have poor critical thinking skills, you are also very easy to influence and manipulate.
@laffytaffy2916
@laffytaffy2916 Жыл бұрын
@@pennylando3145 I agree with both of your points, the lack of critical thinking just makes him constantly come off as the jealous liar he is, like him constantly having to try to assert to the reader he was better at every sport than Will’s was, which that small nugget itself just paints him into a corner because there’s video of he and William on different teams in polo, and him constantly getting so angry, face turning red, shouting that you can’t make out what he’s screaming, him being overly rough on horses and other players with his stick, while William calmly backs off on his horse to the side and let’s him have his tantrum, this crap goes on into William stops playing with him in his late teens and Harry is still taunting him “yeah he had to get a new team because I’m better.” But then you think this guy has been all over the world, heck he was dumb enough to go hiking in Antarctica twice for some kind of stupidity bragging rights, the harshest, most unforgiving place on earth with like 0 population except scientists a few times a year, “yeah let me drag my Royal protection officer’s there, see if they make it.” We should’ve have definitely had him checked for evidence of a brain via a c cat scan before the second trip! Being taken in by a manipulative scammer like Megz, his whole family saw it, tried to point it out “don’t rush it!” They lied about how long they dated to move up the wedding, a lot of times your family can see a person for who they are, they spent a lifetime protecting Harry, they saw Meg and her agenda millions of miles away, you probably get good at that in the RF spotting fakes, Harry always feels he’s right, he’s a narcissist, refused to listen, believe Megz is Diana 2.0 😂 Denies all the BS they said in the Oprah interview. I think he’s just a bad person, all the vile names he called William, his dad, even Kate and NO ONE HAS EVER SAID A BAD WORD ABOUT HER, I’ve met her twice, I truly think she’s incapable of being rude to anyone, heck he even sad rude words about his GM. Things don’t go his way he’s an @busive petulant child, I’m sorry but I’m going to laugh when Megz is done with him and dumps him for her lifetime of money from the Crown to keep secrets. Harry was warned time and time again, but he thought he was special, now he has no family, she’s alienated him, and he picked a snake who has a record of having zero friends because she “Markles” everyone when they have no use to her anymore, and judging by their body language, the fact she’s pushing Harry so hard to get King Charles III to bow to all Megz ridiculous coronation demands, I suspect if she doesn’t get her way, he’s toast. When you sit back and think they got married May 19. 2018 and by October 2019 they really never came back, took 6 weeks off skipped Christmas with the RF, came back with a list of demands to be half in half out, they only made it as Royal’s 18 months at most, she only did 72 engagements, it was all a scam. If you’re not loyal to a family who have treated you so well that you actually believe you are equal to your brother the king in waiting, you are a crap human being, he came from a protective good family that gave him everything, he’s spend years lying and destroying that bond, I think mentally something is severely wrong with him combined with jealousy.

His version of the Auzi tour is rose tinted. Wasn't that the tour where she threw a tantrum about not having the entire house of the Auzi Gov general and the tea throwing story. Too many times she has behaved badly even before any royal involvement during her Reitmans contract in Canada. The narrative of everyone was jealous of Markle, is a projection of Harry's own feelings about his family.

The only reason Thomas Markle released that letter was because Meghan’s ‘friends’ told the People Magazine about it and they wrote a derogatory story about him and her father was angry. He had the letter for 6 months before he released it. Meghan obviously encouraged her friends to do this to push her father into publishing it.
@jaygatsby2790
@jaygatsby2790 Жыл бұрын
Yup, Meghan wrote the letter specifically hoping her father would leak it so she'd have another "I'm such a victim" narrative and an excuse to cut off her father. And she did it because the Queen and Prince Charles were starting to get annoyed by the negative stories on the tabloid from all the Markle family drama. They DID NOT tell Meghan to write the letter, they told her TO FLY TO MEXICO and see her father in the hopes of stopping all the tabloid stories. Her excuse was she couldn't because there would be all this paparazzi circus waiting for her (huh???). Then there was also that incident in Liverpool where a woman told her during a walkabout, "It's not right how you're treating your father." She KNEW she had to do something to paint Thomas as the bad guy but when her father didn't leak the letter, she had that gross Suits co-star of hers (who was friends with People magazine editor) to leak the contents of the letter.

That is 100% TRUE 6 months and 5 friends. She eventually did have to account for this in court. The question was whether or not she had had input on the lthe letter (am I tired and mixing incidrnts?) and perjured herself. She was caughtc and was allowed to get away with saying it had slipped her mind that she had emailed pretty close detailed instructions on what exactly to put in it, including directing, (was it James Holt) to address it to DADDY...It would tweak pt people's heartstrings, she said. . erinf

This is the man who provided her with a private school education, a college education, and helped her get on, and stay on her feet when she was a struggling “actress“. And yet Harry didn’t even bother to meet this man before marrying his daughter. God only knows what all she has said about her dad and her extended family. It’s all just so weird.

As far as their time as working royals is concerned, I think Harry took whatever arose and interpreted it in the worst possible way - or was encouraged to. He claims that the members of the RF were "jealous" that MM did so well on tours. But why would they be "jealous"? It is to the benefit of the Monarchy as a whole that the working royals are well received by the public and are liked. Maintaining - and increasing - their popularity is key to their survival. Reading between the lines - and with bits I'm pretty sure Harry omits because they don't gel with the "jealousy" narrative - is that Meghan wasn't a team player. She couldn't or wouldn't accept that the Queen is the sun around which the rest of the family revolve like little planets. She even wanted her own Court, away from the rest (hilarious!) The Queen is the Head of State - the Monarchy isn't a celebrity awards event or a popularity contest but MM seemed quite determined to shape it in ways that suited and elevated her. I think Harry might have been told that this constant breaking of protocols or using tours to air your own victimhood (as per the Africa tour) just wasn't on. He has interpreted this as "jealousy", when it simply wasn't. It's an institution trying to stop a runaway train from crashing into the barriers.

My theory is that Harry gets so upset when any little thing is said in the press about Meghan because he subconsciously knows that most of the time they’re not far off from the truth. Why did the palace not want H&M to sue because: 1. The Queen and Charles wanted her to go and see her father in person. It was M who wanted to write a letter. 2. I would not be surprised if they knew from Jason that she'd written to him she had drafted to let exactly to be leaked and give her the sympathy of the public 3. For months her father kept the letter private until 5 of her friends "betrayed" her and spoke to the press about the letter, this leading to her father releasing it 4. Her insistence on "protecting" these friends who had "betrayed" her proved they had only done what she herself wanted them to do. The detail about Harry being nice to the butler after Diana's funeral - I'll bet you anything he doesn't remember anything about that at all. He's repeating a story the butler told him because he has no memories of his own. I suspect a lot of the book is based on other people's recollections, especially the post-Meghan phase of his life. I can practically hear her in the background coaching him: "Remember when Kate said that SHE was the one who made me cry? Remember how William confessed that HE was responsible for leaking all that information? Remember? Remember?" And the dummy just jabbers back "Of course! Of course!" grateful that he has such a brilliant, accomplished helpmate.

So I guess the book doesn’t talk about the huge Kensington Palace apartment (bigger than C and W) which used to belong to Princess Margaret (who gave the word diva new meaning). The Q made the Kents move out and that was slated for H and M. It was in actually in process of renovation. Apparently they decided they didn’t want to live next to W and C and that is when the Q gave them Frog Cott.

Meghan and Harry need to learn when to slither away, quietly into the night. Harry seems to have entirely misunderstood, his own mother. The differences between Harry, let alone “Meghan”, and Diana, are staggering. She never passive aggressively upstaged anyone, and notably, never disparaged her role nor the history of the royal family. Any issues she experienced, had little to do with her role, in public. She had class, humility, never disparaged the institution, or Charles, or any other member of the Royal family. She also, made a point of specifically refusing to insert politics, into any aspect of her role, no matter how often, or forcefully the media provoked her. Often, since she passed, I will notice that the media suggests that she was manipulative, when in reality, she was quite the opposite. She was only 19 when she got engaged. She was genuinely in love with Charles, as is obvious, from any historical footage. But he was in love with someone else, although I believe he felt love for her. This was the issue. I think it was a difficult lesson, for all sides, and an important one. I don’t think Charles, had any malicious intent, nor anyone else. These people are ridiculously sheltered, and raised by people who were equally, sheltered, so it makes sense, that they were not prepared to cope with a person like Diana, and likely misunderstood her motives. I think the royal family (sans Andrew) displayed, so beautifully, in the way they welcomed Meghan, all the lessons they learned, from their mistakes with Harry’s mother. I think this tells us everything, about their own sense of perspective, reflection, and genuine regret about the way they handled Diana. I am Gen X, and was peripherally aware of the entire saga, for the nearly two decades, in which it occurred. Diana was so young, and very humble, always. She was shy about being the center of attention, but very people oriented, and would tend to thrive in any public setting in which the focus would be on other people, or a specific cause, involving the welfare of other humans (like some genuine victims, people dying of AIDS, or amputees who stepped on mines during the Balkan wars and conflicts in Africa). I can’t count the number of times I remember seeing this person, in a new country, speaking and listening to real people, who were very obviously suffering. She was always in the thick of it. The media were obsessed with her, because of her authenticity, youth and a kind of beauty, that was far deeper, than their own. People want to be close to this, because they unconsciously, long to reconnect with this part of themselves. Their love hate relationship with Diana, is only representative, of their love/hate relationship with themselves. Her hair never changed, but rather, was updated - her clothes were timeless, never trendy. She didn’t court the press unless she genuinely needed and wanted the attention on behalf of a cause. At one point, the cause was the truth of her own plight, as it related to her marriage. I assume, she regretted this. This is what I remember. I never thought about these people, one way or another. But, she was different. Only when she died, did I fully appreciate what she meant, even to me. I was in tears, off and on, for weeks. It felt, at the same time, sort of embarrassing, and yet completely natural. I was in graduate school, at the time. There was a sincerity, about this person, that had nothing to do with fame, nor physical beauty, or the “saga” of her life. It is a thing we all have, but lose touch with, to varying degrees, as we become enmeshed in the external world. Some never do. She was one. It also made sense in a way, that she would die, tragically. And I swear, I wasn’t a royal watcher, in any sense, not a fan. At all. I think the purity of the soul, we all possess, is the power we felt, from this person. She openly expressed the part of ourselves, that we know, is the very best part. Some people spend a lifetime repressing this, in fear, of the ecstasy of knowing this part of themselves, only to experience the pain of losing it, again. Life chips away at the spirit, if we let it. Every now and then, a person comes along, who fears the consequences of repressing their spirit, more than they fear exposing it. The media placed her on a pedestal, and knocked her down, more times than I can count. It always felt like they were projecting their own self loathing, using Diana, as a vessel. She knew this. She just didn’t understand why, pretty genuinely, I think. She couldn’t see in herself, what others saw, because she was more invested in human connection, than she was in self absorption. I think in the moments, she became a bit lost in herself, she participated in self destructive behaviors. But not in destructive behaviors toward others. This is ridiculously long, but I find it so ironic, that in using the memory of his own mother, as a scapegoat for his own terrible behavior, Harry is revealing, how little he seems to know about who she was. In revisiting some clips I of Diana, with Harry, I can see how astute she was, as a Mother, to his impish tendencies, and am impressed by how assertive and quick she was to apply appropriate discipline. What a shame. Apologies for the bizarrely long comment.

I love your comments: I really pity the person who told her she was an actress. I have the feeling that Harry only reads the headline, but not the article itself. Even in their stupid TV show Meghan says about the Compton article that she is not from there. Well if she read it, she would know that the article doesn’t say that. The avocados, as far as I know the article about Kate was saying, avocados help her with morning sickness. Also agree that it’s not calligraphy, it’s just embellish handwriting.

It's actually worse than you realise. Frogmore Cottage was turned into five separate houses for staff, so it required major changes to turn it into a single domicile again. So it wasn't just a case of Kevin making it a home, you're talking walls being knocked out, rewiring, turned into a modern home, but doing this to a listed building is not easy. For major renovations they have to file plans with the local Windsor council (Runnymede I think), however those plans were never submitted. All plans are in the public domain. The house they decided was not okay with the paps around, wasn't in Oxfordshire, it was it the Cotswolds, closer to Highgrove and Gatcombe park than Oxford.

I agree, but I also think his tales of woe highlight just how little it takes to make him see himself as a victim. William broke his necklace / William had the nicer side of the bedroom at Balmoral / William had an extra sausage for breakfast / Catherine once looked at Meghan in a funny way / Charles didn't give him enough hugs. It's hardly the stuff that makes you clutch at your pearls in horror for a poor mistreated boy, is it? It's a story of everyday mundane family life, not a "where were the social workers?!!"-type drama. I would think it's probably impossible to spend even a few days in the company of Harry and Meghan without doing something that wouldn't even register with a normal mindset, but which would make them feel affronted or victimised.

Regarding Nottingham Cottage. I myself wouldn't be able to live with low ceilings, so I understand Harry on that. But to call it small? In my country 120 square meters is a good space for a family of four! In fact, most families of four actually live in smaller apartments. I understand it's also a beautiful green area in the centre of London. Free of charge. And no gratitude expressed for that at any point. He just takes it for granted.

Thanks again. Like you were saying he must have been hunting down all the trashy rags he could find. Of course she didn’t read them. Sure. I think she deliberately dressed even more trashy at times just to try to upset the RF so other people noticed too. Big deal she did it. 💎🙏💕🐨 Just have to keep adding. Hazzy must have been dredging his memory to find an incident when he said something nice to one of the staff. The sobbing on the stairs incident is truly shocking. As you say if it really happened any partner would take her to a psychiatric facility or call a doctor. It is not something you would just move on from straight away. If he really believed it. The worst part about it though is that here he is spouting about mental health etc. so he must know that some people do actually experience a crisis like this and they don’t just suddenly get better and go out for the night to some public event. How cruel and disrespectful to those who truly suffer.

I don't believe she was either depressed or suicidal. We've certainly never heard Part II of this story - ie. "The Recovery". I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to give chapter and verse about how they overcame depression and suicide ideation, but given that she told the world in some detail about how ill she was and how no one helped her, a couple of sentences about her recovery would have seemed pertinent. With her need for attention, I find this oversight to be a little unusual. Instead it's been Harry going into detail about his mental health and his therapies.

"Your mother was a Spencer. She wasn't a nobody." - I'm afraid Harry is confusing his mother with Eliza Doolittle from My Fair Lady. Diana went to finishing school to learn this stuff. And I swear, I read that the Spencers were closer to British Aristocracy than the Royal Family, who were German. But, hey, his mother, who spent her time selling flowers on the street until she was picked from obscurity? I swear, his grip on reality is questionable.

Actually that comment re Trooping of the Colours is VERY telling of MM's attitude ( dismissive ) towards British culture and traditions. She could not adjust to the culture of the country never mind being an actual Royal. I agree with you - strange how Harry includes it becomes it makes MM look bad. I think that is telling how blindly in love he is with her as the Queen phrased it I think Harry is too in love with MM.
