Harry's attempt to demonise William has backfired massively. William comes across as a mature adult while Harry just seems petulant, petty and jealous.

Oh yes... Harry's goal was to take William down. I don't think any of us knew the depth of his jealousy of William that has been festering for years. However like you said, his plan has backfired massively, and in fact, William comes out looking like a hero for taking care of his family and staff. Harry ends up looking like an angry middle aged toddler, throwing a tantrum. The other interesting thing we have learned is how the palace protected and cleaned up after Harry for so many years. Now that isn't happening anymore, and we see the "real" Harry.

He looks ridiculous. "William broke my necklace/William had the better side of the bedroom at Balmoral/William had an extra sausage for breakfast/ Catherine once looked at Meg in a funny way". Why the press uses the words "bombshell revelations" to describe Harry's book is beyond me. I can understand sibling rivalry and perceptions of unfairness - most kids experience that at some time or another. No doubt there were times when William felt the same about Harry. But for a grown man to write these things and expect not only sympathy, but also hope that his brother will be less liked is just sad - in the pathetic sense of the word.

They all have it tough for a time. Typically the press are all over a new royal bride, praising her to the skies, until after the honeymoon. Then the tide turns and for about six months they’ll be criticising EVERYTHING. This is followed by a period of ignoring her and then, gradually, she will earn media respect, assuming she does her job and doesn’t make waves. Camilla was in a different category, of course, but she was put through hell by the press. But look who’s having the last laugh!

As a South African, I can tell you with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that “the whole country” didn’t fall in love with H&M. Meg was so awkward on walkabouts, she publicly stated she left her expensive jewellery at home “in case it got stolen” (like she didn’t have 67 bodyguards) - which pissed off locals who were treated as potential thieves. Also they were supposed to highlight charities and and struggles people face - and they made the WHOLE trip about them and their drama.

The claims that Harry is making about being trapped are absurd. If William and Catherine can live in a cottage (a real cottage) in Wales for years while working regular jobs, then go back to royal life when they felt ready, then that was absolutely an option for the spare. They didn’t want a quiet, normal life: they wanted fame and wealth on their terms: namely zero criticism.

Bitch, you are marrying into one of the richest institution on the planet, you can't bring that dog over in style and comfort?! Seriously?! Sorry, but after doing rescue and rehabilitation with dogs and cats for decades....my mind was made up there. Meghan is one of those people who absolutely would’ve got professional pictures taken of her bare stomach when she was full term pregnant - another reason I don’t believe she ever was. It seems like Harry never learned the whole “sticks and stones” rule we were all taught as children. And everyone knows when you let something get to you people will just do it more…if you’re 8 years old. People like this are in a state of arrested development. The self importance, the simple mindedness, the tantrums, the entitlement. They’re so disconnected from reality, never ceases to amaze me.

I think the scooter reference was a nod to the movie Roman Holiday. Where Audrey Hepburn plays a princess who runs away from her duties for a day in Rome and lives a day of fun and has no cares. It’s famous for the screen when princess Anne rides a scooter in Rome with Gregory Peck. It’s a ironic screen in classic movie history. I think she is comparing herself to the beautiful (inside and out) Audrey Hepburn who was a humanitarian an actress. Just my opinion.

I often comment on articles published by the New York Times. Occasionally, someone will fire back with a really nasty response. I would not take a nano-second of my time to reply to that. They have their right, as do I, to have an opinion on any given subject. I have never, ever attempted to swing anyone my way, it is a waste of my time. Why Harry and Meghan are so super-sensitive I will never understand. Why do they invest all this energy on negative comments is beyond me.

It could be that friends, colleagues, family members, television stations, newspapers, and I were too busy holding on to our jobs and making do. Most people here probably won't recognize them. The Prince, aided by the hated 'paps', should stop portraying the developing world as adoring naïvetés enthralled by them.

Megaliar was always drawing attention to her moon bump, but never, ever talked about her pregnancy experience. If she had actually been pregnant, I'm sure we would've heard all about her experiences, plus she would have been a high risk pregnancy because of her age. A pregnant woman doesn't need to wear a moon bump. I think Harry is under major mind control, & that M encourages him to take drug's because it helps to keep him under control.

Royal visits etc. can make or break a charity, even community workshops etc. with the attention & money they can raise, not to mention Royal tours are very important to relationships. Take US Presidents for example, they are in office max. 8yrs. The Royal family has been around hundred of yrs. They have relationships etc. that go back generations! So when they are in probably the poorest continent talking about how miserable their own lives are, doing things to take attention away from, for example, a school Meghan visited where they were taught hand to hand combat as almost 90% of them WILL be SA'd! So yeah, people were upset that Meghan came home from a visit, wiped her make up off & stood there talking about how sad SHE was!!! NOT one of the stories they mostly complain about, were written in more than one publication and by any respected publication! They were largely loved and adored. NOT being the Heir made it so he could pretty much do whatever he wanted whenever he wanted and Prince William and Princess Catherine were the ones who had to toe the line!!!

I listen to an episode of this every day and I've come to the conclusion that no matter what happens in Harry's life, things we might see as positives, even joyous events, Harry twists them, lies to himself about them and turns them upside down until he has something else to feel sorry for himself about. I don't believe he and Meghan will ever divorce. She's an over the hill global laughing stock so she's not running off with a publicity hungry billionaire in this lifetime and no matter what she does to Harry; emasculates him in front of the whole world, eats through every penny of their money on PR, lurches from one catastrophic idea to another, it won't matter because Harry lives to wallow in misery and the more she can create the better. In some way I can't understand creating his own unhappiness must bring him some kind of happiness... or why would he do all of this? This is a terrible thing to say but was something about walking behind his mothers coffin the beginning of his addiction to wretchedness?

I think some people have learned to build their personality and worldview on being a victim because they think it serves them. Toxic people turn positive into negative and I think Meghan helped him hone that trait.

William is and always has been the older brother, not only did he have to deal with his mothers untimely death at a very young age. He took on the role of parent to, his younger, totally immature sibling. He fought for him, advised him, stuck up for him and when the time came chastised him. Knowing that their father would never be the disciplinarian I think William took on this role for Harry, trying to keep him straight, I think Harry came to resent this because “how Is it that he got over their mothers death so easily” and got himself together enough to look after him. I think when you have a older sibling, who looks perfect does and says all the right things it’s very difficult to live up to and when thy person is the one chastising you when you go off the rails, that must be really hard. However the answer to how William got over his mother death more easily lies with Harry - because he had Harry to look out for gave him purpose, he became an adult that day and couldn’t afford to go off the rails himself. So I understand all his frustration with Harry and probably he is so very sad that he feels he failed him too. Harry feels he’s trying to cast him in the shade, when everything he as always done is to pull him in to the sunshine. The more I hear in Harry’s words the more sad this story becomes.

When my son died I was lost in my own grief for a few years the same as my other children, we did not talk about him just incase we upset each other, until I realised we had to move on, long process but we all came together we can now talk about him even laugh at the antics he got up to, don't get me wrong the pain is still there and we all break down at certain times, when that happens we are there for each other, I am the worst when I have a melt down and thank the fu#k my other 4 children understand me because I can be very vocal, I just pull myself together and the melt downs are far fewer now. The pain will never go away we just learn to live a different life because basically we are doing a disservice to the person we loved and how they lived the life they wanted no matter how their death happened. Just hug your loved ones and tell them everyday how much you love them as you will never know what the next day will bring. Peace and Happiness to all

Such a good point, had never occurred to me…probably because I take it for granted that the true royals don’t care about the negativity, they just do their job the best they can & know it’ll pay off just like it has…their popularity keeps going up, as it should. You know who was the most disgusted by the fact that Meghan has black lineage? Meghan. I didn’t watch the Netflix series but I saw the clip of her driving, talking about how she’d always thought of herself as a white woman & when the British media “exposed” her black background she talks about how it felt to think of herself as a “black woman.” The disgust in her voice & on her face was so bad I’m surprised Netflix left it as it was. Now she’s using racism when she needs to be a victim but never has she experienced it once in her life. She didn’t fail to achieve fame because of her race. She’s just a shitty actress.

Absolutely. He's so, so lucky that his family and friends aren't like him. Yet, anyway. Harry is no saint and he didn't live his life in the confines of a monastery. There is no way this man child managed to get through his pre-Meghan life without causing others hurt and worry. There is no way he hasn't brought someone to tears or distress to his family's door. None of us can claim that degree of perfection, unless we are bona fide saints. Yet he doesn't see this. All he is able to see is what he believes was done to him - real or imagined - not what he may have done to them. He is lucky that his family cannot write books or take part in interviews to tell their side of the story. He is lucky that, thus far, his friends are sticking to their old 'code of honour', because I'm absolutely certain that there are tales both could tell that could bring Harry down more than a peg or two.

My favourite part might still come up. It was after their Megxit when Harry and Meghan complained that after leaving the "working family", the things and services they grew accustomed to stopped being paid by the institution. This video's chapter is amazing because it shows his absolute disconnect from reality. Harry and Meg want to work only part-time, but the services necessary (security, housing, their PR team and staff) won't be part-time only. They need their staff all year round (who else will get him his chicken?). They need secured housing... So he was basically going to his employer, "I want to work part-time only, but keep paying my perks like I'm still full-time". Harry was so surprised when the security wasn't paid anymore (aka he didn't have any provided by the palace/firm/institution) once he left. Like... What was he expecting? He wants to live a "normal" life with his wife? With no press, no public events and such? Then STOP doing a documentary with Netflix, stop writing your memoirs, and stop having one public event after another. Meg and Harry don't want to live a normal and private life. Because none of this is normal.

I can guarantee that no one used the N-word to describe Meghan on the comments section of an online British newspaper. Firstly, they filter for hate-speech, which that word is considered by English law. Secondly, if anything got past the filters, people would have piled on the poster using such language and reported them to get it removed. Thirdly, outside of American rap music, this word has never been part of British vernacular. We had a range of racist names used in the past (also considered hate speech by modern laws and completely verboten), but the N-word is not one of them. And so many families in the UK contain mixed races and children of dual heritage, there was in fact overwhelmingly positive responses from the people of the UK towards the RF becoming a little more like so many families up and down the country.

I sincerely thank you for doing this for us, I listened to the book on audio like I do with a lot of books when I have insomnia and the book just made me angry and annoyed that I didn’t have many people to be outraged with. I listen to your content a lot when I’m in bed, I have several sleeping masks that are bluetooth, and you’ve made me laugh out loud literally so many times my husband is like “Thank her for me, it’s nice to hear you laugh again, I don’t even mind you waking me up, I just smile and try not to laugh out loud at you!” Followed by a whole silly conversation “ew you stalker, you stay awake to hear me laugh, what a weirdo!” 😂 It’s been fun to hear your sense of humor, I especially recently liked the bubble with W asking H if he was wearing a new necklace! 😂 I think so many of his petty grievances against his brother like he’s held onto, when most of the rest of us have had the exact same sibling situations, like the one where they had to live together as adults, that interview I’ve seen a few times and it’s comedy gold. They are living in a tiny shack in squalor, William is doing all the cooking, cleaning, scrubbing pots, and Harry is in the bunk most of the time. Maybe he did more when they weren’t being interviewed, but I’d be on my best behavior at this time! The interview is hilarious, William is so mentally and emotionally prepared to do all the tasks he can and do them well and Harry comes off as a lazy, snoring twit. For him to bring that up, bashing W over 15 years later, it’s like move on, get a life, sibling’s are siblings, stop complaining we’ve all been there, moved on, then laughed hysterically over the Thanksgiving table about it. But in Harry’s case I think he still has to sit at the kids table because he never showed maturity to join the adults, so they gave him a coloring book and crayons like the other little Royal’s!

But, please know you’ve touched my heart in what I’m dealing with daily doing hospice care with my wonderful grandfather, we are at the final stage where he doesn’t know any of us, or himself most of the time, in an hour he can go from being happy I brought him his favorite breakfast, to pure anger, which makes me cry and I have to emotionally check out at go sit on the porch. Some days he’s completely non-responsive. We have 17 old twins, my son will furrow his brow and I’ve always seen my grandfather’s expressions in that, we laugh so much because he does it when he’s frustrated, sick, can’t get to something high up that isn’t a toy but he WANTS IT NOW! He did it when I was breastfeeding and was having trouble latching, it’s so adorable but I know it will make me cry when grandfather is gone, but now it feels so special. I’m a mean mom and will move things out of his grasp just for him to furrow that forehead/eyebrows but then he gets his prized item and that smile of pride in his accomplishment always makes me melt. Oh, my daughter, I can’t even get into talking about that little angel who stole our hearts, she was in the NICU the longest, I gave birth by emergency C-Section when they were 27 weeks, they are hitting their milestones for the most part, and not to be ungrateful because it was the scariest thing I’ve ever been thru, the hormones alone I didn’t stop crying for months until I knew they were safe, I never knew love to this degree and most days my DH and I are just giddy with them in the mornings while we are eating, playing, getting ready for the day, til the evening when we all return home for family time, baths, our sweet bedtime rituals. I can’t imagine what he is saying and POUTING about as per usual, if he sees Diana in that baby, where’s the burst of love, the “oh my god I’ve missed your face!” That instant degree of love you get you never knew you were capable of? BTW I don’t think she was ever pg.
