It's because he was just using a tragic circumstance in order to prop up his claim that superpowers are bad. But it's pretty clear that he means he hates anything that is outside of his conservative little bubble. The idea of his daughter being scientifically gifted put him off because that's too abnormal for him, too.

so if im correct in the mars episodes, one of their astronauts was infected by the spikes and thats who's on mars attacking them but a regular martian replaced him on the ship thats why at end of that episode in s1 he had to change his suit cause the flag was wrong. so Shapesmith is a martian refugee hiding from the spikes leaving the life of that astronaut whos up there infected

I love that Invincible has serious villains and goofy villains. In comic books, for every dark Batman vs. Joker battle there's also a silly Batman vs. Condiment King fight. It gives the show a wider emotional range so that the moments that are supposed to hit actually hit hard. And even the goofy villains are going to have very unexpected arcs.

Invincible means can't be defeated, not can't be hurt (that would be invulnerable). Granted, he's also not that. While I do count his battle against Omni-man in his favor (Omni-man left before Mark gave up, therefor Mark was not defeated) he pretty clearly lost his fight against Battle Beast.

Funny thing about Doc Seismic... In season one he was against the monuments made to presidents who were racists and slave owners. But then he targeted the Washington monument in this episode because of the resources "stolen" from the earth, but it was actually _also_ built by slaves.

It was closer to 15 years for me, but when someone _that_ central to your life turns out to be a _worthless manipulative piece of _*_shit,_* it _eats_ at you. I could definitely feel it, when she lost her shit. Whenever anything reminded her of him. The way his lies unraveling just... made her so _goddamn angry and bitter..._ I get it. I've had years to get past it, but man. If anything in this season is going to make me emotional, it's her story. It feels somewhat twisted to say, but I feel like this is gonna be one hell of a season.

So, Midnight City isn't this horrible place to live. Yeah, the perpetual night time is a bit weird, but it probably keeps rent low. The hanging body you saw was actually the guy Darkwing left hanging in episode 1, promising to let them down when he got back from the guardians. He died there, so the guy probably just starved to death.

I think you guys missed something important about the Omni-Man and Invincible fight and why Omni-Man left Earth. He would not have done so if he had any intention of continuing his mission and continuing to work for the Viltrumite Empire, because the moment he abandoned his post he became a traitor to the empire and will be hunted down. Allen even alluded to this somewhat at the end of episode 8, going on about how insane it is that a Viltrumite would leave their post. It's not something they just forgive, so him leaving was him choosing his son and humanity over the Empire.

I disagree that Cecil is an asshole. He is purely pragmatic man. He has the job or coordinating and managing world Ending and events and people and trying save as many people as he can. He doesn't have the mind or time to care for individuals personal and emotional issues. It males perfect sense to make a weapon that could mark for the sake of just being able to fight against threats like him, like omni man. He is moraly right and pragmaticly so as well his goal is to save the most lives and keep the world perfected. Everybody under himself are dealing with real issues yes but thier is not much he can do about that and letting them dwell on things like that while on a job is going to take away from the mission which is at the end of the day to save lives.
