Take your time and feel the things you need to feel. It's worth it. The game is a real work of art that forever stays with you. Also, be careful not to rush through open areas. That open space with the synagogue was actually a huge area of side quests where you can grab special items. There aren't that many spaces like that coming up, and some areas have missable cutscenes, so be on the lookout:) all the best

Tips!!! My biggest tip is this game is extremely customizable. If you go into the options settings and difficulty, you change it to custom and fine tune the game to how you want it to play. You can change everything from how much damage you take, how aggressive that the enemies are, to how much crafting resources that you get. Molotovs have an auto aim feature, when you get close enough to an enemy, and the crosshair snaps over to an enemy, you can press R2 and the game will hit the enemy no matter what. It's a 1 hit kill on clickers. 🙂 If you want an easier crosshair to aim with go into options, hud and change crosshair to simple. You just gotta point the dot at the enemies(except bows still have gravity affecting the shot). If you are Playing The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered, i would highly recommend going into options, display and changing the rendering mode from fidelity to performance. This will make the game run much smoother for you. If you also want the game to look cleaner, without the film grain, go further down on that same page and set film grain to 0. If the combat ever gets too difficult for you, you can go into options, accessibility, combat accessibility and change whatever you like there. If a bunch of items are near each other that you want to pick up, you can hold triangle instead of tapping it to pick them all up at once. Or if you want the game to automatically pickup items gor you, go into options, accessibility, alternate controls and then at the very bottom is auto pickup. Right above the auto pickup is the auto weapon swap which will automatically switch you to a different weapon when you completely run out of ammo for your weapon. It can be pretty handy. I'm a brand new subscriber, welcome to the gaming community. It's always great to have another gamer start out on your gaming journey.

@@garydodd2837 True, I guess if a studio is going to spend years creating a game, crafting a story that not only resonates with themselves but most people around the world it has to be worth it. As time goes on I have this thought that how are Naughty Dog (Studio) going to top the characters and story that they have presented to us these past two LO*US games. For me Ellie is the best character that they have given us to date. Even more so than Joel & Nathan Drake.
@LockeNarshe6 ай бұрын
@@garydodd2837 TLOU2's positive popularity is a lot larger than its negative community. It's evident by how it continued to sell well after the story leaks, in how people talk about it years later after the controversy and time to reflect. That there was still a massive enough crowd to remaster it already. There's even a lot of once-naysayers that went back with an open mind, played it and loved it. Sure, some people still get upset about it, but this game isn't rated Mature just for the violence & the language--it's a game for mature audiences. The internet is a place where some people abandon all reason and logic--I'd imagine most wouldn't even act like this if you played the game next to them.

There are a ton of helpful quality of life options, that can help make gameplay less frustrating, such as: Navigation assist: click in one of the sticks to reorient the camera toward your current objective, so that you always know where to go. Additional sound cues: there are sound effects for when you need to dodge, when you gain/lose control during cinematics, and button prompts like crouching under obstacles. Reduced enemy awareness: they'll discover you slower. HUD scaling and color options. And much more!

@@ColetteCherry The problem is that you can't go back to read old entries (unless you load an old save file). Every time you enter a new scene / have a change in time, there's new journal entries. They're incredibly important to understand Ellie's actual thoughts and motivations though, which in turn is super important for the story.

I think Florence Pugh should join the cast for the second season, they would do right to have her. The thing about horses that I learned is that their weight fluctuates quite a lot so their diet changes between how much hay/pellets they get each day. I've fed horses hay in the morning and hay/pellets at night. I know they love carrots which is a good treat for them. This game has been loved and hated by many who've played it. I can see both sides. Troy Baker and Ashley Johnson including Tommy's voiceover actor were perfectly cast. The best part of this playthrough for me was your reaction to Joel's death. I’m only bringing this up as it seems like you don’t want to miss anything. I think the short remedy is just to say slow down. I’ve platinumed 1&2 and watch playthroughs often. It’s normal to miss sections, streets, etc. but when you miss buildings and an entire city, that’s a first. For one example, you’re on the horse and just rode passed everything without stopping… and I was wondering how you were going to go on without the map. But fun to know it appears in a drawer later on. But that didn’t even matter because you literally didn’t use the map. You have to visit all the locations on the map. And she checks each one off. I’ve never seen anyone not do any of it. So interesting. So now I am interested in seeing how you obtain all the items and experiences you missed since you won’t be able to go back. Mostly sad about the music store. Almost suggest doing Day One over.

@@butter2254 yeah I continued to watch the next video mainly because I wanted to see what would happen not obtaining what she missed. But then started thinking about the safes she keeps missing or gives up on. And of course, the bank vault. The trucks, fire truck, pet store, music store, med tent etc etc. ugh. But she can play again and it will be a new experience. lol

@@TheNyquilDriver of course. I have nothing against her at all and she is doing nothing wrong. Like she was not able to open a door without taking what she missed. The game development continues to fascinate me.

everyone hates on abby, I remember all the bullshit controversy around her and the story decision before the game was out and after. as a player we dish out death on a regular as if it is nothing, most games do not make you question that one bit. but that those other npcs also have families, loved ones they want to avenge does not even cross our minds and in that sense we as players have "main character syndrome". cause we know these people, these characters are dear to our heart, they are family and we would do anything for them. well, the same with the people joel killed. last of us 1 and 2 are modern westerns in a sense (remember that westerns also often play with lone, antihero type characters who do questionable things, but we still root for them mostly), there is the frontier theory that especially in america there was always a new frontier to breach, first that was going to america, then in america going west, then that was having states, building towns, railroads, whatever, civilization later we breached the barrier of space with the moon landing and so on. after the catastrophe in this fictional future, there is a new (conceptual) frontier to breach, that of rebuilding society, which also includes venturing out from those "safe havens", re-discovering places you can make viable and so on. and "our" people were not the only ones to do that. It was a stroke of genius to play the characters we hate as well and get their side of the story, make us hate them, but also sympathize, they do good and bad things, no one is without flaws here, also not our beloved main characters, which makes the whole game very human and a commentary on our condition. because we can not forgive others, this cycle of violence is doomed to repeat, makes us turn against each other. in an post-apocalypse where we still have to come together again to ensure survival of the species against the forces of nature (the zombies are some sort of stand in here I feel), we instead turn on each other. in some sense also a commentary on modern day america probably, maybe more divided than ever politically and economically, as well. in inflicting this violence, we also hurt ourselves, numb from all these catastrophes to the suffering of others, but also our own suffering, doomed to do these things on repeat. and exactly that is maybe the last frontier. not the external, but the internal. how far are you willing to go, what borders do you cross, morally, physically in dishing out or inflicting pain and still be yourself, unbroken, soulwise, afterwards. scars heal, but loss on the mind probably wears more, cause that was the decision to for example go after these people in the first place. TLOU2 is an absolute masterpiece in my book from game design, the staggering detail of the gameworld, the story, the presentation, graphics, gameplay... there is not much that it does not do right, there are just a few changes narratively and from gameplay I would change to make it an even better game and even then that would be highly subjective. But the thing that people can not get to see this side of the story, which is basically a mirroring of Ellie from the first game in some ways (the father of Abby being her Joel and so on) was always a little bit surprising to me.

@@Fangtorn Okay well if we're considering time, how could she have responded to comments from the first video in the 2nd video, AND had it been the "first play" on the 2nd video, AND knew those titles while only being that far in to the game?

you know the combination of that Thumbnail and description is a spoiler.

It’s actually not a spoiler , this game came out June 2020... I am playing a publicly released game, three years after it came out. I did not say what happened in the title. I posted a publicly released image of the game.

The only way that you'd know this was a spoiler would be if you already knew what happened. All I see is a picture of Ellie being held down.. thats it

I hate those intros that put teaser clips from later in the video at the beginning, especially when you spoil things like you did in the first 10 seconds of this video. That was a terrible thing to tease.
