I'm isolated and have been but I've studied so many languages and hobbies & worked out in the gym for years so what's next? School, school, and more school.

The best way to go shadow a CRNA is by simply walking down to the PACU and asking for the Anesthesia department managers name at the hospital you already work at~ Being an employee of the hospital is an EASY way to go shadow any department you are interested in~ That way you can set up a time that you want to go shakedown a CRNA and then you just show up and they will partner you with someone for you to shadow and see what they do first hand~

Okay, while I was working LTC and SNF in certain facilities where polypharmacy occurs, and you are the jack of all trades. How do you do the right thing? I noticed people get off on time when skipping necessary corners and was praised for it, while people complained about me when I was reordering meds, checking doctor's orders, actually doing wound care, and passing meds at the directed time. There is a major problem in health care, specifically LTC and SNF, that needs to be addressed. The job became impossible, and most times I didn't feel supported. I disagree, it is not always the best thing when the nurse races to the finish line, if we are being honest. A lot of the time I had to stay over and even help my coworker so that the patient's safety and our well-being could be managed.

Pleasee make a video on time management for new nurses!! Ive been a new nurse for 8 mos now and Im still struggling with time management. It’s rare that I get out on time & I typically leave an hour late. I work on a CVSD unit & usually get 5 patients.

I say Shadow the CRNA First** To see if it’s something that you would like to do BEFORE going and investing your time working and learning the ICU that way you are clear on what a CRNA day looks like having seen it in person and then can decide if you want to invest your time working in the ICI to qualify to apply for the CRNA program~
