This guy is a specimen no doubt. But anyone can do it if they have the discipline. The ketones produced by your body while lacking carbs are a great source of energy for your brain and your muscles. There is evidence showing that it could actually be the preferred energy source in some metabolic processes. The real badassery here is that he he is zero carb and in ketosis 99.995% of the time. That’s NUTS.

I have found that no more than one sheet meal per week keeps me sane and keeps me ride on track for my goals. Are used to do cheat days, but over an entire day I would eat so much that it would set me back. Now on my cheat day, I fast all day, if I exercise, I just do some cardio, and I have just one meal but I can eat whatever I want. I picked out and I’m right back on track the next day.

@@sophizaaa it’s a great way to enjoy food and stay healthy. Fasting has real benefits. Periodically eating “processed” or enhanced food has benefits. Giving yourself a reward has benefits. I developed a little trick that worked pretty well for me and always has; say my week is Monday/Friday. I eat normal all week. Saturday, I fast all day, have one meal, and eat as much as I want with zero carbs. I pretty much eat as much meat as I want. Next day, Sunday, fast all day, have one meal and eat anything I want to. Going 48 hours without carbs, and doing two 24 hour fasts back to back, challenges me, and rewards me, and keeps me on track. Haven’t had the guts to go full keto yet. Once I stop competing in heavy lifting sports I’ll make that switch pretty much permanently.

Yes I never believed anyone saying that before until I tried keto a couple years ago. I have bad depression and anxiety. I stayed on keto mainly because of how much dramatically better my mental health is. It's night and day and kind of blew my mind. Plus my body doesn't feel fatigue & achy. Way more energy not wanting to fall asleep in the middle.of the day and so much more focused. All the anti depressing and anxiety meds did nothing for me.or made me a number zombie. I was so happy that I finally found a solution that was not temporary or toxic habits. I feel like myself again

@@bantxc5616 yeah i think when you’re not trying to lose weight it’s not a problem I just think it’s a whole other thing for people who are like big big. I’m like 200 lbs rn and I know I should be watching what I’m eating and not overeat but I also understand how hard it is to contain yourself when you allow yourself to have cheat days. that’s why I think people who 1. Are obese/ really out of shape should not have cheat days 2. People who are hardly putting in work to lose weight/build muscle should not have cheat days as well. Also a cheat meal once a weak is one thing but some people actually just binge and eat like a weeks worth of junk food in one day because they tell themselves deserve it (not talking about everyone because ik not everyone’s like that)

@@jeremyymelendez yeah for sure. It’s definitely gonna be easier if you don’t have cheat days if you are dieting. I’m around 155 atm so I don’t rlly have the biggest problem but I still try to eat healthy. Good luck man!

I had my first cheat day for the first time in over a month last night. I regret it but enjoyed it in the moment, I shouldn’t beat myself up for it

Sundays are cheat days. I don’t binge, just enjoy certain things and I’m still making progress
