Having lived in Japan for over 15 years, let me tell you that everything here is either extremely expensive or extremely underpowered and old unless you order it online. Also, i am sure Dawid doesn't read this, but for anyone that does, Japan has extremely strict privacy laws and filming in stores, restaurants, transportation, and people without consent (and blurring people's faces) can actually get your camera confiscated by police and a fine up to ¥100000 (~$1000) over their portrait/privacy laws. Since Dawid is making money from this KZfaq video and if he didn't ask for consent, he can get fined by the government and sued by any of the stores and people of they find out.
@TK199999
@TK199999 11 ай бұрын
Ironically Southern California has similar laws about filming in and around bathrooms. A World of Warcraft KZfaqr got fined for doing an interview in men's room (at Blizzcon in Anaheim, California), not knowing the law. SoCal like Japan has had...issues with perverts and so has had to also create legal remedies.

Japan has packaging down to like some kind of ancient black magic. You should see the high end department stores wrap things, its amazing what they can do. Even oddly shaped things are no problem. I use this same case for my mini-ITX build. I replaced the feet on the bottom with some taller feet, and it helps with GPU temperatures and was a very cheap modification. I then took the existing feet and used them to screw in the tempered glass panel on the bottom of the motherboard. So now I can use the PC in horizontal mode as well. For day to day usage there is no thermal difference, but when I am using a high GPU workload I get better thermals when I lay the PC on the side. It simply lets more air get to the GPU. The case itself is super durable, I traveled halfway around the world with it and never had any issues with my PC from airlines handling. It can even fit in carry on luggage, so that helps. When I take it through airport security I always get strange looks though.

There's a ton of shops in Japan that do that(same handles, same green plastic straps). They do it because people ride the trains to get around. There's a machine at the checkout that seals the straps by melting the ends together. Very common for things that don't fit into any bag(I got straps on a full size casio keyboard from a music store, as well as a folding table I bought at a department store) As for the plastic wrapping, the employees are taught "the proper way" to do it. It's a cultural thing that if you get wrapping on a purchase, it has to be the stores way and is probably WTF awesome. It goes back to the cloth wraps they used to use. Apparently they often hire a consultant to come in and "teach" wrapping techiques. If you ever go to Japan, feel free to ask for it to be wrapped(gift wrapped, travel wrapped, etc) and they'll probably do it in an exquisite manner. If you think it's weird, they also have a very specific way to count money that is the same everywhere and they all do it EXACTLY the same every time(they force people to practice doing it just so, with the same precise motions and a very exact angle of folding)

4:17 A Jonsbo T8 I have this case. It's not bad if you can get a SFX PSU that you can get ultra short cables made, but the choices for GPUs are limited to ITX models at 180mm max (they even state that on their site.) For best air flow though It's best to use a 35W~65W, a RTX A2000 6GB GPU, and a HDFlex 200W Pico PSU w/ a 180W - 200W Dell laptop adapter (just needed a metal plate to put in the DC plug into.) Oh depending on the GPU the GPU fan works for drawing the air in, but your choices on Heatsinks & GPU are not the wisest of choices on airflow, but at least it wasn't thermal throttling.

In situations like that with the CPU fan, I have had some success reversing the direction of the CPU fan to pull air up. Still isn't ideal, but it pushes the hot air into the psu and out of the case. With the 2 fans working together, the psu stays cool enough as well.

I found a K39 mini itx case and GPU flex extender cable with 300w power supply randomly at the local thrift store awhile back and remarkably I had some parts itx parts laying around for a different project and decided to put em to work, 10th Gen Intel i3, MSI H5101 Pro and 16gb DDR4 2666mhz ram, Noctua low profile CPU cooler. I was looking for a decent itx size GPU I was going to get the 1660ti but I happen to stumble on a Intel Arc A380 and boy I am glad I did, the most recent driver updates made the a380 a very awesome bang for the buck budget GPU that supports Raytracing and with resizable bar the performance just keeps getting better and better. This sucker is super tiny, smallest pc I have seen with a dedicated GPU and not a APU, plus it runs all current games very well and the core i3 and the A380 are a perfect match zero bottleneck. Love me some tiny builds, love the content and your videos! /build on!

Jonsbo also makes a T8 Plus model chassis that is SO much easier to build in for only about 5$ more on average that I’ve seen. It’s only about 1.5L or so bigger in volume and you can get a couple extra fans on the bottom and one on the back. Plus that carry handle 👌

Your build is basically 50% of my new SFF daily driver that's smaller than 5L. CPU, check. Motherboard, check. Cooler, check(minus swapped fan for a Chromax), RAM and that's where the similarities cut off. I'm using a 256GB 980Pro M.2 and a Inland Pro 1TB(ew but it was all I had on hand), a HDPlex GaN 250W and the piece la resistance, the RTX A2000 6GB, inside a Stratos case. Not a bad little build.

Have had the exact same red T8 running for three years now. Awsome unit, everything is tight as heck and ran into the same goofy front IO cable through the mounting plate issue. One thing I haven't figured out is how to alter or turn off the RGB on the top fan (unless I buy another fan and deconstruct the whole thing... again). And beware; the glass panels are prone to chipping, and the case is pretty heavy.
