I lived in Wichita, KS for many years and actually had just moved from right down the street when this swatting call happened. While the crazy psychopath who called it in was bad enough giving an incorrect address nothing compares to what unfolded that night. He was killed by a cop, while unarmed and with his hands up. Then he was shot by an officer who had been involved in Other questionable officer shootings. He (rogue cop) ripped this family apart as if it wasn’t bad enough the victim was raising his niece and nephew. His niece never recovered and she unalived herself a year later. The cop faced zero consequences and got promoted.
