Most of the cars featured can fool you, but remember: it's not the purchase price but the maintenance that's going to destroy you financially! On the other hand that C Class 10:55 and the following Infiniti will only fool a few ... If I were to pick one, I'd go with that gorgeously looking and heavenly sounding Aston Martin Vantage.

Most used vehicles especially luxury, sports and exotics that have depreciated in price have high maintenance costs that if you can't afford new you will struggle to afford the maintenance.

Solid list…I would personally go with Aston Martin Vantage. I love Aston Martins in general, but I have read and heard through many credible sources that the Vantage isn’t terribly unreliable. Plus if it’s 10 years old or less, you can get an extremely affordable bumper to bumper warranty still with these.

The list nails it, but other than the Aston and G35, all the cars in the list suffer from serious maintenance issues. Starting for the ticking bomb Maserati to the oil hug Rovers.

Hey, Brad... First of all, you asked what's not to love about a Maserati. Here's what's not to love about the Gran Tourismo... The styling. They're fugly!!!! Secondly, I was happy to see the Cayenne on the list. When the Cayenne made it's debut in 2004, I bought one for two reasons... The interior and exterior styling and that 400 hp V8. It was an amazing car and fantastic to drive.... A 911 Turbo in an SUV body!

Bmw i3 is the best bang for your buck in terms of style and Ev platform. Some models come with an optional gas motor for when the battery runs out. $25k😊

Yeah buying these luxury cars for a fraction of the price is cool but remember that when you will be maintaining/fixing them you wont be buying parts for a 25k $ car... youll be buying parts for a 100k+ $ car. Some of these cars also need to be VERY well maintained to be reliable and buying cars like these used isnt always the best idea if you dont know much about them.

When I step out my 2007 Aston Martin Vantage I look like I’m stepping out of a $35,000 car to anybody that knows anything. I’ve had it since new and still enjoy it but it damn sure ain’t a rich man’s ride.

a rolls can be bought for less than Camry but the reliability and maintenance costs are just way too high for many people, let alone people who are looking for budget cars that makes you look cheap. most of these cars are just unreliable and cost a lot to maintain and run

So, while I actually love a good deal of the cars you said, I am seriously concerned about the maintenance costs. If you can't afford a luxury or super car, can't afford the insurance costs that would double your cheaper car payment, and do not have institutional and engineering experience with the brand to properly do repairs, then stay away from ALL OF these cars

Not knowing the reliability of a lot of these cars (of course barring those that are famous for the lack of) and the ownership experience I've had with my 350Z, I would probably say that the Infinity G35 would be up there, if not the best of this list for reliability. You may look richer than your current standing but may be the worst on this list to make you look actually rich. Everything has its ups and downs.

Based on our lovely friend depreciation, the predictions of them holding value or even going up, and the blood sweat and tears of hundreds of hours of overtime, I am the proud owner of a last gen Nissan 350Z and a first gen Audi R8 (manual trans). As a car geek I do it for the love and passion, but when people come to ask you what you do for a living because they "know" that the R8 is a 6-figure car. There is a reason why these cars depreciate so much. They're junk. Sure they run great....when they run. And try to get them fixed and price the parts. And they break down a lot.
