I was just about to say this! To the other people commenting, yellow means you have to yield. Those in the intersection already have right of way meaning once the light turns yellow, the driver with the dashcam (who had ample time to slow down) should have yielded to the Penske truck that was already in the intersection.

It is cause they only use one foot for both pedals in a car with automatic transmission. They should be using one foot per pedal (left foot=brake, right foot=accel). That way, they will never confuse which pedal to press (as long as they know the difference between right and left anyways...)

I don't know man, there have been several instances where flashing my hazards left me wondering if my damn hazards were even working and had to check the back of my car to verify that they were. I used to drive for Uber/Lyft and would have to put the hazards on regularly to let people know I won't be moving any more to pick up-drop off someone. I've had people stay behind me expecting me to move, I've had situations where I've been sitting there a while and they still pull up behind me expecting me to move soon like... do hazard lights mean nothing to you people? Even a whole stopped car, no lit brake lights cause it's in park... nothing? really? Even one time I'd put my right signal on with reverse lights indicating I'm trying to park in the open parallel space just behind me as soon as traffic clears... lady pulls right up on my back bumper as if she expects me to make a right turn ahead... amazing how often I have to wave my hand to GO AROUND ME!!! So I questions how often people use their brains when they see hazard lights flashing in front of them... if they even see it at all.

1:32 Yea, this guy is speeding so he calls a light from a long distance, then he ignores the right of way for the truck already in the intersection, and then he screams at the truck like he was the one who made a mistake. People like this are why I'm glad some intersections have cameras, but tbh everyone should be using dash cams at this point.

You should use your hazard lights in cities like Chicago if you are delivering something and there's no available parking. There are plenty of situations where it's acceptable to use them like that. Sometimes there's no other choice but to just park somewhere you shouldn't be long-term and just put the lights on in case.

How about those who teach and make the idiotic laws ? They let idiots get a license in the first place. Almost seems as if driving is some sort of birth right in America. Can't legally smoke a cigarette at 20y.o in some states but you can drive up to 26000lbs at 17 in all 50, just saying...

@@g00dl00kinb0i A good portion of these clips were from Australia and other places that aren't the US, I think idiots might be a universal problem. Germany probably has a better system, but it's difficult to restrict people from driving when most people need cars to get around in the US.

@Avery W You know, I never meant someone should be "restricted" in any way, America has way too much of that crap in its past already. All I'm saying is getting a license in the US is just too easy, the biggest emphasis my instructor had during the exam was parallel parking (a stupid way of parking cars here that allows the least amount of cars parked in any setting) while during actual driving he didn't mind me a few miles past the speed limit, which he should. Many people on the road here just are not ready to be issued a license but they have one. I just think the bar should be set higher then what's there now but that's not what America is about these days. I agree with you that people need to get around, that's why the driver's license requirements should be higher.
