I've learned three things from all these dashcam videos: 1) In the USA, you're allowed to drive while legally blind. 2) In Russia, it's mandatory to take three shots of vodka before driving. 3) Many drivers have the reflexes of a snail. On tranquilizers. In the freezer.

@@westerlywinds5684 There might be states that prohibit something like that but here in the midwest I've seen guys get away with it. Think of how big trucks, like bucket trucks are sometimes modified with racks and bars in front and hanging over the cab. The last video of the pick-up truck is humorous, but that also creates a really dangerous blind zone in front of the truck

I had a bookshelf fly off my truck once. It didn't hit anything and that's when I quit using shock cords to tie stuff down. Just laying crap in your truck bed is a disaster waiting to happen, even if it's super heavy.

Dashcam Riprock clarified in another thread here: "Crazy angry girlfriend. It was on another channel with an explanation. Apparently they'd only been there for a couple of months, but were already the "Neighbors From Hell" before this took place." Imagine wrecking a car to do this. Neighbors from hell, indeed.

That truck at the end isn’t the first backwards facing vehicle I’ve seen. Depending on the state (here in the U.S., no idea what the laws are elsewhere) it’s perfectly legal. I personally don’t think it’s anymore dangerous or distracting than any other odd/custom car. 🤷♀️

as long as it drives safe I have no problems, though with the headlights being the new taillights and so forth I wouldn't want him to drive it at night

@@bum2chair ... we didn't get a view of the other end so who knows what's there for lights. BTW, in states like PA you can't even install a custom steering wheel so I doubt this would pass inspection there.

That first one could’ve been way bad if the completely connected on impact. Offset frontal impacts are way worse than a head on.

Anyone else get reflex impulses to react quicker than some of these drivers do? Seems like taking the foot off the gas, or using the brake are not options with some of these people...idiots all around
@rosieposie66712 жыл бұрын
Why do some drivers insist on overcorrecting if a car drifts into their lane? The results are many times worse.

as a new driver, what would be the best thing to do ??
@rosieposie6671 Жыл бұрын
@@Nscape-dl2js Excellent question. With .y nearly 50 years of driving experience, I just do not make a sudden jerking movement to the left or right. If you are traveling at high speed, that's when loss of control can occur. If possible, slowly change lanes.
@Nscape-dl2js Жыл бұрын
