I was molested repeatedly by a refugee brought to our home when I was ten years old. I finally found the courage to tell my mom when i was fourteen. As a ten year-old, i feared for my life. My dad, the pastor and the one who brought this young man to live in our home never did anything to defend me or to speak on my behalf. Perhaps he wanted to be sure not to ruin the young man’s life in a new country. I’m sure he hoped this young man (who became like a son to him over the years) would come to Jesus and would have a good life. Years later, this young man’s father came to our country and went on to molest his own granddaughter. Thank you for speaking up for those who have been abused. This should never happen and be covered-up, especially in the Church. Are we not all of equal value in God’s eyes? Does He not long to see righteousness in His Church? Of course He does. He longs to bind up the wounded and broken-hearted. People in Church leadership who do not do this or who, God forbid, actually abuse people and “little ones” can expect terrible retribution on the day of judgement. Let there be weeping and repentance in our churches. I do believe that Jesus’ return is not far off.

90 percent of churches have become coorporations per their 501c3 contract with the state thus ceasing to be Gods church with Christ no longer their master/ Lord The state/ IRS

I’ve been involved and have supported IHOP since the early 90’s. I had a hard time with the way Paul Cain and Bob Jones was handled and kept some distance. Regardless, I was stunned in Oct over the news of Mike. Makes me 🤢. Thank you for talking about this. I don’t sense any bitterness or any malice on y’all’s part. Families that keep secrets stay sick. It is very hard to talk about this and listen to it but it is NECESSARY! I’m praying for all of us and specifically the poor young women that were abused.

Don't forget about Augustine also. I was there in 1983 when it all started. Bob Jones a false prophet Paul cains a false prophet ,and so was Augustine. That's the elephant in the room that should have been been addressed years ago and that I've been exposing and addressing on their website . Nobody ever contacted me or answered me back. Bob Jones would get up there and yak yak yak yak yak yak yak yak for an hour or so and not even open the Bible. And bring forth his imaginary visions of Heaven that were from his own imagination not from God. In all of NAR are all falling in line with the also. Hello name number one Bethel. And all of the so-called Apostles that are through the United States right now. The New Apostolic Reformation movement. The church was built upon the foundation of the Apostles God gave us them as gifts. There's no need for apostles today

@@heyyou9839 I didn't mean to romanticize the situation or encourage women to worship relationships, marriage or men. I can see how you could have interpreted it that way. Those kinds of perspectives where women are subserviant to men, especially spiritual leaders, are a big part of the problem that perpetuates the abuse happening. I've seen that for a long time and definitely didn't mean to encourage that kind of environment. I was just specifically wanting to encourage them for standing for the truth in this video and noticed how her facial expression was really backing him when he was being very brave to stand up and speak strongly to these leaders who are larger than life in so many people's eyes.

I think the root of this crisis is ALL of us bringing the culture of celebrity worship into the church, and allowing corrupt and lustful men to take advantage of that without accountability. And yes, everyone deserves recognition and encouragement, but this video we are watching is a husband and wife team, not everyone. Stating that she glows when listening to him isn’t romanticizing anything, nor does it lessen her contribution. It’s a simple recognition that she obviously loves him, and that’s a beautiful thing to see. No need to politicize it 😉

I also saw the last sermon clips by Mr Sliker, and was shocked at his mocking, ‘exposing the works of darkness’. Zero fruit. What? His manner is similar to Eric Voltz, I remember when leaders speaking like this actually worked. Now it is exposing them. The announcing major changes by Dr Brown, is an interesting video. What struck me about the quoting of the grace report was that it was 2018, they were quoting that as though it was up to 2023. It is not. It also gives them wriggle room. I also watched 10 mins of silence by Dean Briggs- I cannot recommend this highly enough. It is profoundly impacting. And finally the 2nd video by Wanda Alger, regarding corruption from 2 days ago. Her husband’s dream is speaking about IHOPKC, it is very revealing. Blessings guys, your doing a great job, preach it Blaise!

I would go to Easthill Church in Gresham Oregon, from 1978 - 83. I was young. Yet the gospel was not lost on us (many)...Jerry Cook was the pastor. The gift in Jerry (teaching) hasn't been seen in a church his size for 40 years (not at all in that time "anywhere" IMO). The unction was penetrating, so deep (yet gentle).It had no relationship to Toronto/Lakeland types ever! No Bentley's, no Jones/Bickle's nor Joyners.....they sometimes tried, but were toot sweet shown the door (actually quietly ,"go away and never comeback)! Jerry lost his church in 1984 because "his wife committed adultery" (like a couple times).....it was over! I knew her and really did not like her, although I only attended Thursday nights ( except one young singles group meeting/retreat in which Barbara Cook was in charge, it was slightly creepy) ......last I went was 1983 and you could feel this"carnal vibe"! The word was, they brought in a new seasoned pastor "to shut the doors" on a 4,000 people church.....we dealt with things differently back then, there was no fear of shaming those involved..., there was no politic's of bringing things out "at different levels", we didn't "unpack"......we judged by the Holy Spirit (core members), like Mike Bickle was judged over 30 years ago....we moved on!

I have seen the preachers repeat these tactics repeatedly for over Fifty years. It’s a cycle. It’s based on wanting a place of honor. That desire for authority manifests itself in abuse, because it is at its core. The problem is worse than a sexual perversion. It is a deeper issue.

What I see is that Mike Bickle at 42 was such a smooth operator, you just gotto wonder for how long he has groomed young women girls before that, and the fact he kept his playbook style going successfully on others after that. My question is when did he start this playbook, in his teens, how many victims were there leading up to his forties and obviously he's never stopped because he had never been outed or confronted, at least not enough to divert his course

I appreciate you guys so much. Would love to hear you do an episode about spiritual bypassing - especially how some leaders are saying "the enemy got in." I agree that there are spiritual influences in these types of situations, but it would be great to see the church hold individual people responsible for wicked/evil actions and not make it seem like it was all the devil. I believe in spiritual warfare, but this "the enemy got in" type of language almost leads to a "the devil made me do it" type of copout. I wish the church would call things what they are and stop gaslighting victims and protecting abusers.

Since this house come out I realize that I have been sitting on a Powderkeg. I am seeking inner healing from trauma for myself and I grieve for my children. The same scenario happened where they covered up the sins of leader ship at the detriment of the children they were leading. Mine being three of them. And nothing to this state has ever been uncovered. These are local ministries that still operating with no consequences.

I appreciate your ministry and your desire for truth. Please take this in the right spirit. We are dealing with the deterioration of moral standards in our culture and part of that has to do with the way people dress. I would ask you while while we are dealing about sexual issues that you present yourself in a less provocative way. I'm sure that you are used to this style but it has a connotation with it. If you research it you will find out why the outer shirt is off of the shoulder and the undershirt which reveals skin is showing. It is provocative. For people who have not been raised with this type of dressingIt's a jolt to see a person who purports to be walking in holiness to portray themselves in this way. If the Eye dark and how dark is the darkness. The eye represents the conscience. The culture has a different conscience than God house it's clearly defined in the scripture as modest apparel.

When David Sliker says there is zero fruit from exposing sin, he is completely off track in the first place, the aim is not to produce good fruit but to remove the bad fruit so it does not corrupt the good fruit. One bad apple can spoil the whole bunch. If the roots are bad the whole tree will be affected and this poison will be feeding the entire tree.

I just sent Shawn this video of yours and told him to man up and speak up courageously about IHOPKC, you’re welcome! thank you for continuing to expose corruption in the church. My old church went through a scandal as well and unfortunately because this IHOPKC story is so big, Fellowship Monrovia Pastor Albert Tate got kind of forgotten, which is sad because he has done so many things to hurt the body of Christ, over 10 pastors under him have resigned- that tells you a lot about his poor leadership. this video is also good to wake up the churches, and to send out a message to pastors and leaders that even though you think you’re going to get away with it, there may be some people who will hold you accountable and expose the scandals and corruption in the church so that we can have a holier church and honor the Lord in the body of Christ the right way!

I’m not a follower of IHOPKC but I am an older Christian who has been through this ordeal in churches I have followed. What I am the MOST grateful for is younger people like you who stand against corruption. The Church has forgotten that God is a HOLY God. Yes, He is merciful, forgiving, loving, hence the long spaces given for repentance… but He is Holy. We cannot tolerate sin in the camp any more.

My wife and I have been following your podcast for the last couple months since all this corruption has begun to be exposed, and I want to say how much I appreciate what you’re doing and the message that’s coming through. Don’t be dissuaded (I know you won’t;) from speaking the truth whatever the cost. So appreciate your time and heart in all this. My wife and I were at KC Fellowship where this all started with the false prophecies of Bob Jones and others. I confronted the leadership then with the false statements, occult visions, dreams and “words” etc and was dismissed. Too much to unpack lol. There is a certain ongoing sense of angst when you understand you’ve been deceived, and even worse when you point at the wolves among the sheep but the “shepherds” claim it’s just another sheep who needs time to grow. Carry that for about 38 years. The damage that has been inflicted is immense, but impossible to measure, but I remain convinced that the voice of the Good Shepherd is heard by His sheep and after another they will not go.

Blaise, you are absolutely right. MB is IHOPKC and IHOPKC is Mike Bickle. HE is pulling the strings in everything that is happening. You are also correct that the body of Christ is WEAK in speaking the truth about the sin and holding leaders accountable. Also, in discernment. Keep up the good work.

The Lord got me away from NAR years ago. I repent of listening to IHOP's sermons. Way too heavy on prophecy and dreams that glorified IHOP leaders. The Spirit of prophecy glorifies Jesus, not a particular ministry.

Good word, Blaise, on telling Jane Does that them speaking out does not hurt the body of Christ. Amen! The only way MB seems like David is in committing adultery and not dealing with his daughter's violent rape by his son. I agree with Christina that MB literally thinks he's David. In a narcissistic way. All his teachings should be taken down, in my opinion. His prophecies have been proven false, and he used them to manipulate people and commit sexual sin and as a weapon against his own wife! The bride teachings in particular are dangerous, in my opinion. I personally know of another IHOPKC offshoot ministry that re-packaged the bride teachings and formed a ministry that exists to abuse girls. Thanks to the armchair investigators, that place is now being investigated.

She has been “remote staff” for several years now. Supposedly in Israel but public records have put her in Oklahoma. She’s a very mysterious piece of the puzzle.

Y’all should watch the BBC exposé on “Prophet TB Joshua” out of Nigeria. It’s a 3 part documentary about the years of abuse that went on in his church. His church is the largest church in Nigeria and he has influence throughout west Africa and Europe.

The seed of many of the prophetic ministries bear some affinity to “The Elijah List”. You may recall their association with Todd Bentley and his egregious heresy and spiritual arrogance. Many of the so called prophets like Bentley are poignant examples of narcissism. And thats my point with IHOP-KC AS WELL. Bickle exhibited classic narcissistic tendencies in my opinion. Our pulpits are filled with narcissists portraying a “Man of God Syndrome” (see Steve Hill) that is so detrimental. We desperately need a JESUS centered Spirit led National Revival built in the cornerstone of repentance. I hope IHOP will be reborn with fruit in keeping with repentance AND accountability.

I got to say this. Do not underestimate your brothers in Christ. Many of the "leaders" either self appointed or appointed by the church putting themselves on the pedestal are nobody in the eyes of the Lord. Many have asked why the sexual scandals going on at IHOPKC was undetected in the church operating under the prophetic spirit. I will say the Lord was speaking to multiple people concerning the issue but we have no direct contact to the leadership. Of those that did reach out to the leadership, the concerns were utterly ignored.

Thanks for all the updates here. This is the really the only place I go to follow this story (there's one more I check occasionally). I'm Israeli, and yesterday I just learned how involved Mike Bickle was with Dalton Thomas Lifsey of FAI. They are based in the Golan and I stopped following them when I learned about Dalton's first offense with an employee, and how that was handled years ago. Joel Richardson is their board chairman and he's addressing this new offense so much better this round, hiring GRACE, etc. My understanding is that Bickle was involved in the mishandling the first round, though. It goes to show how major unrepentant sin in leadership spreads through the body of Messiah. If you know more about that relationship, it might be helpful to your audience to break that down and show the connection. May we all live above reproach. Amen.

1:09 leaders not speaking up... the egg is on their face in that while they were not groomed for sex, they were groomed by MB in other ways. No one wants to admit they were groomed. They were groomed to endorse MB's character, integrity, legitimacy of his movement. it's an awkward humility to admit that someone deceived you, and that you fell for it hook, line, and sinker.

That’s why this prophetic stuff like IHOP is dangerous. Who would believe that nonsense about the angel visiting. But so many non scriptural “ dreams and visions” result in things like this. Stay in the Word if you want a “ word from the LORD”, I hope people will wake up and walk away from this deception.
