The two of you are doing a very good job of explaining the situation. I CANNOT believe the deception that is still present within the IHOPKC community. Has anyone thought of simply doing what is right in the sight of God according to His Word, ( repenting and seeking restoration from God, but not to go back in another money making ministry )or is my thought an over reach? Thank you for keeping us up to date. I dropped FB two years ago and do not have a Twitter account. It’s important justice is served. Mike and his cronies are counting on this being swept under the rug and forgotten. I believe the Lord is wanting us to go after this with incredible fervor in prayer to uproot this grievous corruption. Think of the calculation it took for Mike to find the girls and women he could manipulate. And think of how many had to have known what he was doing all of those years. If he is devious and cunning enough to get by with abuse on such a large scale, what else would he stoop to and cover up? Everything hidden must be exposed. IHOP must be shuttered completely. Prayer groups are happening all over the world. Support and attend those.

As to Bob Jones predictions: I've been told Jones predicted cellphones. Tesla was talking about phones you could carry in your pocket in the 1920s. Isaac Asimov was talking about it in the 1970s. There is SO much spin when it comes to these "prophecies".

Unfortunately this is all perfectly normal to me.. every charismatic church I’ve ever been to, that had a Pastor removed for SA, later preached that even though the Pastor had fallen into Sexual Sin, all of his teachings, prophesies etc were still God Inspired and should not be thrown out… The cover up is still going strong… this is sick and insane on so many levels. These people will stop at nothing to preserve their own ministry, positions..and paychecks…

I totally agree! The main reason the IHOP ship is going down is because of their defiant refusal to submit to a mutually agreed upon 3 rd party investigation. ThIS has made them look shady-er than anything else. After something so horrible as SA the only appropriate response would have been a humble, honest transparent, truly repentant approach - hiding NOTHING. With a heart to bless and heal the Victims But they haven't done any of this. Something is seriously wrong with them if they can't see their own wrong and are instead blaming others. They seem utterly clueless of their need to reestablish trust with the body of Christ. But they have done nothing to rebuild that trust. The whole ministry STILL wreaks of corruption.

For anyone who's been following the Mica Miller case in SC, I was finding so many similarities with the man calling himself a pastor, JP Miller, and MB. That story is tragic, but thankfully more and more light is being shined on these broken systems with narcissistic leaders and leadership.

I agree with what you are saying at 29:50 about the “new era starting” language. When i heard that i was immediately taken back to a situation i experienced in 2020 with a toxic pastor who came to a thriving church of 300+ people, and within 2 years brought it down to 40 remaining. In one year we lost EIGHT elder/deacons who stepped down, then left the church. This pastor was a bully who engaged in chronic dishonesty, intimidation etc, and whenever someone tried to stand up to him, he turned on them and made their life hell. Well, we eventually were forced to lose our “class A” status due to lack of funds and a working board, so a special church meeting was held where the District Presbyters were present so that the church could vote on us becoming ‘Class B”, meaning we would now be under the districts oversight, guidance and maybe financial assistance too (i forget). ANYWAY, i was stunned when that pastor spoke up at that meeting and said that he was looking forward to us doing a “regroup and relaunch” and starting out fresh yada yadayada. I felt sickened! No brokenness. No repentance or remorse. No confession. Just a glossing over attempt at DAMAGE CONTROL and IMAGE CONTROL, with minimizing stunts and pivots to having a “fresh start”. There is so little weeping between the porch and the altar in Gods house anymore. 😢 please see Isaiah 9:8-17

When protecting the ministry is more important than protecting the people, it will be turned inside out on itself. It seems inevitable that IHOPKC will be shedding lots of layers for a while. It is a conduit where the church passes through, but it is not an end all. I love IHOP but I personally put very little stock in the 'leadership' aspects of ministry. That being said, I DO greatly value TRUE humble leadership. So often the real leaders barely know they are leading. I don't mean that they self deprecate and have to wallow in false humility. There are many there that are hanging on despite all the garbage, and truly are focused on the Lord, These will be ones that will carry the true ministry way out beyond the fallout. As the Lord carries them. These are the ones that will truly listen to the Lord, and have a grace to stay amidst al the shifting props, the real one thing will truly remain the one thing. After all they KNOW it's not a show.

I think they're many who will need spiritual and emotional help to move on. They have invested many years. I pray someone helps them cut the soul ties and they can move on.

Odd but serious question: who was the intended audience for Isaac Bennett's sermon? There's a saying: "Don't argue to persuade the person in front of you. Argue to persuade the ones who are listening in." I wonder if there's a hidden audience of spiritual or financial "heavy-weights" out there, whom Isaac was really speaking to & trying to persuade? I ask bcoz, as Christina said at 6:30 , these clips are mind-numbingly basic. And the cadence, with the pauses -- I dunno, it just felt odd & unnatural, given the already-committed audience. It felt like a teaching lead-up, culminating in "please clap at our awesomeness!"

I keep thinking about that man who was in the prayer room and told Blaise “these men, leaders, are sleeping with women around here…” or whatever the exact words were. It was a systemic problem with the leaders. I don’t know them all to say which one probably didn’t know, if any.

What your wife is getting at is key! We often want to attach ourselves to other's word from God that they are to steward with guarded hearts. That's how charasmatic people (not annointed people) manipulate others with giant vision. We need to hear and obey God for ourselves so that the community will walk unmanipulated and with accountability the way the early church did in Acts, with a fear that Annanias and Saphira could drop down at any time!

Blaise…I was never actively involved in the day to day at IHOP, but I had attended conferences etc. I had encouraged people to check out IHOP and had introduced my husband to MB’s teachings. It grieved my heart and I had to repent as well. Anyone who was deceived and then introduced people to IHOP…we all need to repent…not just anyone in leadership.
