3 жыл бұрынThis is the Pro+Aqua Portable Water Softener, I am doing the regeneration , aka regen to clean the resin media.
What you see is the Travel Series RV water softener that I use for washing my cars/motorcycle and I also use it for carpet cleaning.
The soft water makes auto detailing much easier. My foam cannon works really well with soft water. When I use soft water on my holding tank for my carpet cleaner, I get really good results. Carpets are softer and cleaner, no residue!

According to my manufactures directions you are using it upside down.

The parts you use to perform the regen seem to be off the shelf 1/4 inch hose and connectors. Since I already have a softener, I might try to make a hose/connector gadget to convert a filter housing I have to perform this. This is a unique device as regen on any other RV device is messy and inefficient.

Thanks for this. I'm about to pull the trigger on both of these items and was wondering how it worked. I have a Clear Source 3 canister filter system for my RV and these two items will be installed prior to that system. So Pre-Filter to Softener to triple filter to RV. Hopefully = perfection. Thanks again!

Hey great video. I also thought those were only 1 pound each. But they're actually 1 pound 10 oz. (26oz) and that's exactly what these water softeners call for. 👍

Great video thank you I have the same exact set up but my directions call for the salt water mixture to be set upside down at the time of regeneration They even put a flat spot on top so that it would set upside down I don’t know if this makes a difference but that’s what the directions say to do

Thanks for the video but may I recommend not draining the salt onto the grass. It's going to kill all of it

Do you know if this portable system can be used at home for a pressure washer? (1.2 GPM, 1600psi)

I posted a video where I show how I use it with my 1500ps pressure washer and foam cannon. So to answer your question, yes. I do it all the time.
