Journey, is such a true inspiration. She is a fighter and a goat that loves life and takes each day that is given to her and gives it her all. She just melts your heart. And I know we are all truly blessed to be sharing in her "journey". She puts a smile on all of our faces and in our hearts. God put Journey on this Earth for a special reason that none of us know and she was placed in your hands and in your hearts because God knew you were the chosen ones to give her the best life she could possibly have. Allowing her to be like other goats. She may not be able to jump up on bales of hay or on the side by side or four wheelers, but you are allowing her to experience those things and the ways that are best for her. Seeing her ride in your lap on the side by side the breeze blowing across her sweet face and seeing the smile on her face that you know is also in her heart. And to see that little tail wag that lets you know she's happy and she knows she's very much loved. There are not enough words to say how thankful we all are that she's living out her best forever life at the sanctuary. God bless each of you forgiven her such a beautiful life. I have been teaching special needs students for 21 years now and I fight daily fr my kids to do what others are doing! This year I am finally getting a male assistant and this is going to be wonderful, I finally will have a big guy to help this 62 year old teacher move my students and carry them

Darn it now I'm crying. I have a disability that effects my legs and I am going to say this you are doing 100% the right thing. I'm loosing my abilities to walk and stand slowly but surely. Journey is amazing, she has something to teach us all. We all need to live our best lives now, quality lives with whatever time we have. None of us are promised tomorrow. It's today that matters! Journey might surprise you~ She seems like a tough determined girl who doesn't care that she's different. She'd want to take some risks; it's just how goats are! I know she'll be happy however long she sticks around (I bet she wants to see how big her horns can get!) :) and when it is time, her positive, hopeful energy will have infused into the farm. She'll stay with everyone forever in so many ways~ ps - I can't get over how pretty Sissy is! They are all pretty, I know, but her soft beautiful soft color matches her sweet personality so well.

Yesterday I rewatched Jami's first video with Journey. In comparison to this video, it's obvious and amazing to see how she has adapted and grown. You have provided her with the best life. Journey is thriving and enjoying a quality life because of the love she receives from all of you!💕

When I was 20, I started working at our small town Sheltered workshop for handicapped adults, as a supervisor. I was privileged to help them train and compete in the Indiana Special Olympics for 9 of the over10 years I worked there. One young man in our group was running a race. lost his balance and sideswiped a chain link fence and fell! As I ran to help him, he jumped up and kept on running! His whole left side, head to foot, was scraped and bloody, but he was determined to finish that race and he DID! I'd always loved teaching all of my people to learn skills that might help them to work at jobs in the community. but Special Olympics was truly special to ALL who participated and chaperoned! That was the most rewarding job I've ever had!! I TOTALLY understand your tears, Lester!! Just as I was shedding tears with you just now, there were MANY tears long ago, in the best job in the world! I have to admit that they taught me a WHOLE lot more than I ever taught them!!

Dear Miss Journey what a story she has - we were first introduced to Journey as a newborn she paired with the 3 little pigs, then we saw how she adapted her mobility with a hand stand, she did not accept the wheelchair, she learned to run with Pig Newton, now she is constant companion to 3 active little goats. She is the sweetest of them all. How lucky are we to have watched this special girl grow and teach us all about perseverance and acceptance? And oh yeah as Lester reminded us she is a goat and does goat things. She still wags her tail really fast when she is really happy.

Awwww,beautiful Journey! I too have been born disabled (I'm 62 years young). I have had to be the one watching everyone else from the sidelines. But I developed so many other blessings and abilities that many people are jealous. Since you can't see my disability, many people have called me lazy and many other things to numerous to mention. Those people (the jealous ones) would never be able to cope with the pain and other "distractions " that are a normal part of my everyday life. I look at Journey and totally get it. I see myself in her little courageous acts and hyjinks everyday. I see my life 's (a life I wouldn't trade for anything) journeys, in Journey,s gorgeous spirit everyday. Have a blessed day!!!

Thank you for this sweet video. Journey is a special girl. I too have had the experience of being around and helping with special needs kids. I have an older brother who is autistic. When he was in high school, his class had a dance and I went with my mom who was a chaperone. One of the special needs boys asked me to dance, I did and it was such fun. I’ll never forget that.

Journey and miracle really are just that!!!!! It could so easily have gone the other way for the 2 babies but they're thriving and happy. You’re just like all parents with their young children, at the jungle gyms, slides, swings, etc., standing close by so they can enjoy life and have fun. Seeing Journey happy, doing goat stuff is the highlight of ... well, everything! It was precious that Chip and Roxy joined her so they could all "goat" together on the hay! They were being gentle and protective of Journey also. They sense she's calmer and play doesn't need to be rambunctious. That is just like your recollection of Roy in the ball pit. Do all that you can for her to experience a great life and I’m speaking from experience when I say sometimes will can overcome life expectancy. My dog was diagnosed with CHF and was given 6months to a year and She is going on three years now. Animals have the instinct to live remember that❤️❤️❤️❤️
