"Will it Kill?" is a show about funny fighting game clips, throwing rocks, betting fake points, laughing maniacally, cats, and reflecting on the consequences of your actions . We'll show a fighting game clip and pause it on one of the hits of a combo. You have to vote on whether the combo will kill or not. There are no drops, Time-outs don't count, and we try to get as close to optimal as possible. EVO Japan may interfere with WIK next month, but who knows; we'll keep you posted.

I can explain the escalation from Vacuum Cleaner to Truck at 37:49 Akiko, the character swinging a truck, is literally just somebody's mom. She's a totally normal person who does nothing particularly strange, so most of her attacks are just mom stuff extrapolated into a fighting game. Like Vacuum Cleaner. You see, Eternal Fighter is a fangame working with characters who don't really have magical powers or fighting prowess, so they come up with funny ways to turn more mundane ideas and character traits into attacks. Except for the truck. The truck is a reference to a late plot development where she straight up gets hit by a truck and is hospitalized to add drama and narrative stakes to her daughter's story. So, if you pay close attention, the truck in that attack animation actually sneaks up on her before she grabs it and overhead swings it. Hwat were they cookin'?! Also, it's a Guilty Gear clone.

Y'know, I've never actually made a guess on any of these videos, but recently I've been actively getting into FGs and felt knowledgeable and confident enough to finally throw out a guess which I did for that Juri clip and BOY, the "WOOHOO" that came out of me when I got it right, at 3 am in the morning was so visceral and unintentional, I just had to let it out. Aki actually was in a Street Fighter 6 tournament Botan set up, did decent for how new she was. She played M.Guile As for lore justifcation for her teleport, she's an half-elf from a magitek world. She's not the most embelished character in the game (Sora is just a normal girl in lore, yet has a sword, turn into a soda can, etc) While the remark of her being a favorite of the devs is true, but even pre-nerf, she had to work for her wins

I don't know what possessed somebody to make a KEY studios fighting game, or why it goes so unnecessarily hard, but I'll never be able to thank WIK enough for introducing me to Eternal Fighter Zero. EDIT: Just looked it up and realized that devs are the same ones behind the official Touhou fighters, so that at least explains why it's so good.
