Industry changing VFD Upgrades

Here is a link to the upgrades if you want to have them done by us....the soldering is quite extensive to make your cables compatible with the upgrades. Right now every upgrade includes a IoT relay. pwncnc.com/products/vfd-upgrade-service

Will a dedicated 20amp plug be sufficient for this setup? If so, do you plug the vfd to the 20 amp wall plugged? And which plug on the iot do I plug the dust collector?

Hello Chris. I recommend having the VFD and Machine plugged into a 20amp circuit. The VFD won't take any more than 12amps, but you have to have a little bit to go over for safety. So either a dedicated 15amp circuit or a 20amp circuit you can use with your VFD and machine. The IoT and any extraction system you have should be plugged into a different circuit from your VFD/Machine. Hope this helps.

@@PwnCNC perfect. Thank you. I will plug the machine plugged into a separate 20 amp circuit, the VFD plugged into a separate 20 amp circuit and the dust collector into the iot. Is that sufficient?

Looks great, Daniel! I'm in, especially for the IoT port! But we just got it working this week with the new high-torque spindle--I can't really afford to be down for a few weeks; can I pay for a cross-ship upgrade from you?

Hello Caleb, we have a variety of motor sizes from 1.5kw 65mm 110v, 1.5kw 80mm 110v, as well as 2.2kw 80mm 220v all available with this upgraded VFD Enclosure.
