Infraction Mega 6s Round 2!

Round 2 with the 1/8th Arrma Infraction Mega 4x4 resto-mod Truck. Made some changes on this one. We added the Vendetta spur gear 50T, a 26T pinion, the Hoon Elevens, a driveshaft stabilizer, and a fresh new body! After all is said and done we hit 81MPH! Im pretty happy with that. Fastest I've gone yet. Now to reach new heights/goals! I hope you enjoyed the video and I'll see ya on the next one...

Just some helpful tips to improve gearing 1.Make sure the gears are same pitch. 2.The mesh sounds too tight. One way to get the perfect spacing in between the gears is by using a small piece of paper and lodging it in between the spur and pinion before tightening. I usually use printing paper or a sticky note and then fold it upon itself to give the mesh some more room to breathe. Ive been doing this for years and haven’t stripped a spur since (also cooler motor and faster speeds). Best of luck to you

Sweet upload man. I am impressed you broke 80 with the stock chassis/suspension and even the full sized spoiler. Yours is the steadiest over 50 I have seen on the modded megas. Congrats 👏 . I liked the bigger tires in your previous video for slow speeds with the infraction mega. Pure grit putting the fresh body shell on for those speeds.

Yup, I wanna be like you when I grow up😆 Awesome channel! I’ve got a Granite that’s basically stock, a Big Rock that’s running Arrma Felony 6s motor and Esc and I just got my Infraction Mega last night. Got the Blx185 and Spectrum 2050kv motor installed over night. Fresh charged 6s just Waiting for sunrise so I can hit the streets and see what she’ll do. Great channel, keep it up🤘🤘

Awesome video. I was thinking about getting that infraction for my son because out of the box would be good for him and we can modify it as he gets better. I have a vendetta, interested in your motor and esc set up, you for sure need steel gears now, haha.

@@boaboynyc1 yeah I went with the 57t metal for now, running mine on 4s when I get it all together. Mmx/2650kv. If the 50t drops I’ll def buy it as well to throw in. I think I have a 24 or 26t pinion to throw in, but it may still be a little slow

Maybe use the blx motor mount with the aluminum maybe the motor is moving in the plastic motor mount

Thanks! They weren't bad. I could leave hand on motor/ESC at all times. Never to hot to touch or hold. I have a temp gun...just always forget it!

Some grps s7s. Upgraded metal spur and slipper and you should be good for near 100.

S7 is only good in very very hot states in all honesty the softer the better no matter the weather the lower numbers as there softer will wear easier but unless it’s extremely hot out S7 will not give much traction looks pretty chilly there you’ll probably be better off with s1-s4

Metals slipper clutch broman 57t and cut a Lil hole in the gearbox for a bigger pinion metal ring diff gears and metal input gears u can also upgrade the center shaft to an aluminum one u have my sub bro check my vendetta before I turn it into a 6s monster 👍

Thanks! Sorry I don't have an answer for ya.... I'm not quite sure what you mean for center brace setup? Vendetta already comes with the driveshaft high speed support. If like a chassis brace I don't really know. Might have to experiment a little.

Im a bit confuse because I have the new 3s infraction and it does 70 plus with that same setup on 3s wondering why you only hit 50 at most on 3s With the same setup as the vendetta ?

Hi guys!, the difference is that sketch is running a much lower kv motor than the high kv on the stock 3s infraction/vendetta.. Hey sketch, purchase the HotRacing arrma 3s motor mount which has a little more room for bigger pinions, or just Dremel a little more room on the stock one.. Hope to see you soon.
