a 2 oz silver coin is worth about $46.14 and they are trying to sell a limited edition coin for $299. Keep in mind that a piece of cardboard is worth $0 and they sell lots of that, so the silver coin is cool, but it's not for me. I'd rather buy a piece of cardboard.

I got real excited hearing about that silver black lotus coin. My dad's big into collecting coins and I thought this might be a way we could combine our hobbies. Then I realized, 1. $299.99 is way, way, WAY outside of my price range, and is a ridiculous price for anyone to pay! And, 2. People are still gonna pay it; I wouldn't be surprised if it was sold out before I could even get on the site to nab it. Oh well. It'll make a story.

Hey Sylvan Ranger is a decent common on Arena at least. It's the only unconditional basic land on ETB tutoring creature at less than 3 mana, so I use it for blinking in my Emiel, the Blessed Brawl deck.

I ordered Meditations on Nature foil, and I received non foil cards, and the outer packing says they are foils. Wizards is in a big decline. Sad to see.

I bought my first Secret Lair ever for the old Ixalan legendary creature with the new showcase art, and my bonus card was an elvish visionary… felt bad for sure.

I watched the Dr Who Holiday Special 2 on Disney which is the 1 hour episode about the Meep. I'd say give it a watch, it's pretty good. I relate The Meep to the Gremlins movie, nice furry friend, the a blood thristy aminal. His transformation on Doctor Who was well done. Have a great day

So silver will hold a higher value than canned food in the post nuclear future that is a intriguing concept but knowing that silver is heavy and has no immediate use like canned food that was the primary currency in a boy and his dog but I prefer the use of bottle caps as Tim Cain created the concept of for the fallout series in decades ago because bottle caps were plentiful but had no way to be manufactured or even forged thus making a economic stability that was spread and used as a way to barter in a majority of trades in the fallout games. So thank Tim Cain and black Isle studios for the concept of bottle cap collecting to be popular again.

Question with The Meep - is Ward considered an ability? For example, if a Yasharn is in play, preventing players from paying life to activate abilities, would this just be effectively untargetable unless you had a "can't be countered" spell?

I stopped buying SL when they put them in flat envelopes. Two came to me bent *in half.* Also, the only SL sold through Hasbro Pulse, Lil'r Walkers, never came to me.

I think the elf secret lair could be better if it happened when another creature ETB, and if another player has more lands than you, that land goes into play instead.

I have never once gotten a bonus card that was any good what so ever. It's always a .10 card or a basic land or a crap .5 land and I have gotten at least 30 secret lairs.

I was really excited about the magic the gathering silver coins but I'm in the precious metals business myself I was really hoping they were going to be closer to actually affordable or at least a couple dollars over spot price but $300 I can't afford that That's not even an investment That's just straight up greed silver for 1 oz is currently sitting at $23.98 which if you do 2 oz it would be $47.96 But in my business which we usually do $5 over spot per ounce but they're straight up literally asking $100 over spot per ounce

They should sell shirts, hats and sweaters to bring in the green instead of messing up their game.

You forget that a large part of the demographic is kids literally playing on the floor and using whatever cards they can get their hands on. we have all been there.

You know, i started playing around 2013/2014. And for a looooong time I'd hear whispers of Slivers and then suddenly a bunch of people would start talking about Slivers. Then I'd see them discussed or mentioned on YT videos for yeeears. but I'd never actually _seen_ a Sliver card or bothered to check one on Google. To me, they were like an older thing some of the long time players loved and missed and I figured they wouldn't come back so I didn't really care much. Then last year I'm playing Arena around this time of year, and suddenly there are Sliver decks appearing... and I'm like "oh that's cool! They brought Slivers back!", and I got my ass kicked cos I didn't know which Slivers were the problem Slivers when playing vs them. Then I kept playing, and another Sliver deck came up, and another and another and another and another.... And I gotta say, I was fucking disappointed after all the hype about Slivers. Like for real, they were ALL the same fucking deck. Card for card they were IDENTICAL, except for maybe 1 or 2 minor tweaks in SOME people's decks. They felt more like a YuGiOh Archetype than anything else, and they were so fucking boring! Oh look there's the one that gives them all haste, oh look there's the one that let's them all tap for mana, but I still need to keep my removal for that one that gives them all flying and haste, oh look there's the one that gives them all flying and haste so I'll remove it, oh it turns out they had 2 of them, I'm probbaly gonna lose cos now they all flying and haste, but they're still gonna drag the game out to play that one that give's them all cascade, oh look there's the one that gives them all cascade, now I gotta sit here while someone just cascades through their entire deck 6 times per turn... I just started conceding to those decks out of pure boredom. I didn't always lose, but winning or losing against a Sliver deck was never fun. It really just relied on getting the correct counter plays at the correct time, and if you missed ONE then your opponent's Slivers quickly get out of hand. NOt interesting design, not fun to play against, they don't appeal to my kind of play style so I don't think they're fun to play with either... So I reaaaallly hope Slivers don't get more support :s just let them die... they're not interesing.

Sylvan ranger is honestly underrated. The card is pretty decent in a good number of cube decks. I wouldn't be unhappy to get one for my pauper cube.

I'd buy alot of the secret lairs, if they would actually care about the cards they are putting into them. I love the concept and idea. I'd be happy to have a lot of the cards I play in secret lair, but the cards they include are crap. A lot of times what I've ran into, is there is one card I want out of each secret lair. I cannot justify paying 40 bucks to get one card I need that would only cost $10 otherwise, it may be cheaper than buying each one separately. I don't need all of them I just like one. I wish they did a better job of adding viable cards. Instead of this uncommon / common garbage
