Agree 100%. I am not a violent guy, but I have a family with four children, and if anyone comes into my house uninvited, especially at night when everyone is sleeping, they are not going to walk out. I will do anything to protect my family in the safety of our home.

As someone who vapes, i would never dream of blowing a cloud over someone else's property, even if they were also a vaper. That was quite simply a dick move. Yeah, it _does_ have an odour. Sure it's not as bad as burning tobacco, but some of those fruity flavours even bug me when i'm downwind of someone on the street. If you believe it's genuinely just thoughtlessness rather than deluberate malice, then "Hey, dude, orks aren't meant to smell of blueberry blast, cut it out" should be sufficient to make him realise it's unwanted.

I think that when you get into the hobby, you need to prepare yourself for some strange behavior. I knew this as a teen ane had to relearn it as an adult. Also, I believe you can say almost anything, to anybody, as long as you choose the right words. Maintain a tone of respect, and people are likely to give it back.

Women just don't seem to get it. On face value in isolation it seems harsh to clobber (or in the American case blast) an intruder but sometimes it is as if they don't consider what happens if the man doesn't act. Was the first story in the UK? In the states things typically turn out differently. In conservative states, nobody would batt an eye at someone arming themselves within their doorway. In liberal states there may be more questions, but no one is likely to be arrested. The old man who entered the property is more likely to get in trouble. In conservative states, his life is forfeit the moment he crosses the property line in an aggressive manner. The mans son who jumped over the fence is absolutely catching a charge for battery, and the original poster could have easily shot him and been within his rights.

I don’t think this guy with the beard problems is a cop like he says he was. If he was a cop, I don’t think he was a very good one. He would’ve picked up on all this BS with within intuition. Also, if he was a cop in that town, he’d probably call his buddies and they would tell him the whole thing about hipster beards incident because it’s public information not private. Plus in most states defending yourself on your own property. If you feel your life was being threatened and you didn’t leave your property. You’re generally not gonna get charged, unless it’s a completely liberal state like California.
