Thanks. Great how 2. Seems weird there's slack between the forks and spacers. I understand the forks shouldn't be pinched, but does anyone know how much distance between the forks and spacers is acceptable?

The wheel is tight between the forks and the forks are not pinched. They are parallel all the way down from the clamp.

Just got a set for my E model. Not my first motard set-up but it is my first time installing a front wheel with a 320mm rotor. Man what a pain in the dick. Thanks for the video. I also noticed that I'm going to have to run the brake line on the outside of the fork. Not too happy about that to be honest...

Mister Motard most SM setups run the brake line in the outside of the forks. You can get a longer brake line to keep it on the inside but run the risk of the hose rubbing the tire. Keep in mind. Your changing your bike from the original purpose. There may be modifications that need to be made. On this drz we tried both routes for the brake line. The inside worked but it did have to be pulled into place because it made the line a little short. You can looses the bracket that holds the brake line in the fork and pull the line down to give a little slack. Thanks for checking out our video.

What if I want to use my existing speedo drive, and what about the kickstand?
@Motoxindustries6 жыл бұрын
Jimo368 order the speedo drive front hub. It comes just like your stock hub with the tabs. Ours still worked with the stock kickstand.

I've never seen non spoked wheels on a sumo, is this common or just like a cheaper alternative at the cost of more mass?
@Motoxindustries5 жыл бұрын
They are actually more expensive than the standard spoke wheels. They weigh about 1 1/2 lbs more.
@VitaliyKhomich5 жыл бұрын
They give way more stability in corners then cheaper spoked wheels
@bradleythomsen30835 жыл бұрын
@@VitaliyKhomich false. Spoked wheels are superior. More give, stronger, and lighter. Edit: perhaps your key word was 'cheaper.'
