I need to get a hold of the Ion come the IAE and try that one out as well. Its a beast. BUT while fast and hard hitting, difficult to lock on a target so fear not small ships. Just don't sit still.

Just so everyone is aware, when I reload the ammo...that UEC price is for filling the entire 2000 rounds (thankfully). I look forward to trying out the Ion come the IAE.

Hi! So far I know the ion and inferno have the same amount of components. CIG changed it last minute, I hope they will change it back.

@gipsy ronin actually, the Ion doesn't have 3x shields anymore. It's exactly the same as the inferno.

...what...ugh why?? It made sense it would, that was the trade off and why the Inferno hull looks different. Hopefully they update that.

The ion is sweet i flew mine in the ptu, it took a gladius down in what felt like 1 shot. That little sucker can move but i lined it up nice and easy. Instant satisfaction!

I like your animation and character design speaking to the camera, very nice work on it. I have yet to see any videos of people using this against a HH or connie or valkyrie. I see a lot of people having trouble keeping the pipper on target. Is the "jerk" too much on this ship? I can keep the C2, connie, msr, prowler, etc on target even though they are slow turning. Seems that both ares are hard to keep on target as it bounces around with slight vector change inputs. The range on the weapons for both ares need to be increased. You have a s7 that has the same range as a s5. In what game world does that make sense?

Is that size 7 the only weapon. Available in the ares, or are there hard points I could use as well?

Thats the only gun, and its bespoke so you are not swapping i tout. You get missles but no, just the one big gun.

@@GipsyRonin thinking about it now, that makes sense, given the whole balancing and purpose of these ships. Still, I look forward to flying them this coming IAE, although it does make me wonder if I should trade in my hornet for it.

No, I was asked this before actually. I have never played Eve but a few gamers educated me on them. One of the longer running group from that title I hear with a large population.
