If Ironmouse ever graduate I hope she will join Vshojo.

Graduated vtubers should at least be able to talk about their past. It's ridiculous they have to tiptoe around an NDA after they dedicated years to a role.

I hope Vshojo will set a new standard in the industry where talents can permanently own and be themselves even after graduation. That being said, can't wait for that Matpat debut.

It's so refreshing to hear such a big Vtuber expressing EXACTLY the problem I have with Japanese agencies. The outright disrespect they show their fanbases/talents when people retire/"Graduate". To the point of even deleting old content/closing KZfaq channels etc

Mouse is right, this whole idea of having to abandon everything you were and just disappear is so weird. It’s not something that needs to carry over from idol culture, the way they do it in Japan is often really stupid, gross corpo mentality of throwing people away like used dolls. And I hate that it’s called ‘graduation’, dressing it up as something cute sounding when sometimes it’s not so pretty, with talents getting screwed over or burned out.

What Mousey says hit hard when you remember all the stuff Kson accomplished but had to leave it all behind. I've also seen some "fans" turn on her because she joined another agency. It's fucked up

Yeah, the more i see of VShojo, the more i understand why Pikame went there. Yeah she still had to give it up to be Henya, but she has so much more freedom than she did before, and its way safer to keep everthing shes working towards, including her fans.

Not going to lie, Ironmouse is speaking facts. Always kind of had a problem with Graduations since it just feels weird that these VTubers pretty much have to give up there persona, the thing they pretty much built from the ground up thanks to there personality and traits, because of a contract which I can somewhat understand since it is pretty much tradition but it still somewhat feels weird that we are supposed to pretend to not acknowledge there past accomplishments or persona and we are supposed to accept that we will never see them as that persona again (at least to my knowledge). I guess that is the reason why I always hoped to see a graduated VTuber return as they old persona. Not saying a VTuber can't move on from past personas but it just feel ridiculous that we have to take the opposite extreme and just never acknowledge the past.

She's clearly talking about Henya here, the most wholesome Vtuber around! Some people say they followed Pikamee but don't like her new model. That's crazy to me. If you actually liked Pika before, Henya is like twice the fun. She's more happy and free now, always surrounded by so many friends. And she doesn't have the responsibility to carry the whole company now. To say you don't like her now just because she has a different PNG really doesn't make sense to me.

Honestly, freaking mood. I really hate what we fashioned v-tuber graduations as a concept. The whole process is just unfair when you consider that they have to resign their entire histories, accomplishments, and even potential friends networks to outright oblivion In most instances. I honestly wish creative control from these companies didn't really create the atmosphere, as they're human beings at the end of the day, and they deserve to do what they will with their past as such. I hope we're able to get to that point freely one day.

Nijisanji have been dealing with constant graduations that it honestly doesn't surprise people anymore. They've been heading down a dark path for a while now, its sad to see.

I think I agree. In the TV and Movie industry, when an actor leaves a show, they are free to talk about their time on the show and their character, even if the show is still ongoing. Yes, the typical method for an actor to leave a show is to kill off the character, which I think is overdone, but the actor's role and efforts in that role while they were on the show are still acknowledged.
