I’m moved to tears. I have no idea if this was prepared or not but the Holy Spirit certainly used this young lady to minister to his hurting daughters. My heart is full and I appreciate this platform for being brave enough to “go there”.

Wow! This piece was so sobering and challenging. The "horror" genre piece was deeply moving; amazing how God communicates Himself through the most difficult and unexpected ways.

Thank you so much for posting this! I have been wanting to hear more from Jo ever since I stumbled on RZIM last year. Hearing this message from another woman is very powerful. Her encouragement to be brave and tackle difficult questions rather than shy away is much needed.

The problem of Westerners, is that in the West, they are still currently operating under a Christian framework that makes their society civil to live in and therefore are far removed from the brutal, destructive and oppressive regimes of human beings, primarily governed by men that are not Christian in thought, word or deed and even in ideology, that is happening now. I challenge a lot of Westerners to live in places like Afghanistan, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, the Northern part of Nigeria to appreciate how much Christianity has made a difference in the West.

This is a really good podcast. The question comes to my mind "What is man...?" I actually think that it is the grace of God that He even deals with human beings - because human beings are wicked especially men. The same people who are criticising God publicly (without carrying out any constructive form of research in this age of superabundant information) are relatively quiet when it comes to solving the problems of humanity even at a surface level. I would go as far as to say that the very things the critics accuse God of doing and being are quite possibly the very things they practice knowingly or unknowingly

You would have been more credible if you said that the issue of a man bringing a woman from a war zone to make her his wife was a deterrent rather than a recommendation. For what sane man would want to start a marriage with a woman who has lost EVERYTHING, her parents, siblings, relatives and friends? Please! No one in his family would support him because marriage is difficult enough under normal circumstances. Its a war zone in itself as its about 2 people trying to become one and that involves DEATH TO SELF. So why would you want to add to that by bringing in someone who may infact never recover? Can anyone ever recover from losing all? Even the most loving husband wouldn't be enough. He can never be everything to her.
