Hello guys and Happy Saturday! Tried something a little different with this video leaving it totally unedited, let me know if it was okay and something you'd want to see again in the future (I may do some livestreams too)

It was good that it wasn't edited... It gave the vid a very real feel, for instance waiting to cross the roads. We felt as impatient as you did and it heightened the feeling of adventure 👍

My god thanks for showing me. It’s really not that impressive.. noisy with cars, provably smells like pee, and everything is overpriced

This was so cool and surreal to see Matt, it was great to see from your prospective and actually feel like i'm there in person :) so sad to see so close to the boulevard all these people that are struggling to survive

Hi Matt! I enjoyed seeing the Blvd but agree it has seen some better days. There are getting to be a lot of stars along there. The economic disparities are enough to bring tears to the eyes. Lovely walk all the same and I always enjoy your commentary. Hope you have a great day.

Nice walkthrough showing us the raw side of Hollywood Blvd. It’s not for everyone but it can be a lot of fun. I remember when I was probably about 19-20 years old I’d be driving down here and Sunset Blvd blasting Def Leppard and thinking I was so cool. That walk of shame part is absolutely embarrassing. They need to get rid of those tents. My daughter has been asking me to take her to Hollywood for years now. I eventually will but there’s no way I can take her to some of these parts. Hope you are still enjoying your trip in the US. 👍

Hi Matt, neither of us has been to Hollywood Boulevard, so it was very interesting to find out what you thought about it. I haven't seen any diagonal crossings before. It looked like a lively and vibrant area, even though parts of it seemed rather jaded. Sad to see the stark differences between the rich and the poor too. Having said that, I enjoyed your hearing your observations and point of view. Thanks for a great vlog! 👍😀

My first to time to visit the walk of shame, I was greeted by a stench of pee upon getting out of the car. I wasn’t impressed but it’s still a place that visiting friends want to see, so I still bring them there and let them experience that famous tourist spot.

Thank you for sharing. I would find it all a little overwhelming with the noise and traffic but good to experience it all.

What a funny story about Germany. 😂 FYI, last year California passed the Freedom to Walk Act -- which decriminalizes jaywalking. So no need to wait on those lights.. but do be smart about it and look always & all ways before crossing. Thanks for the video, mate!

I expected the street is full of stylish and sophisticated PPL like DC. As long as you do not have to deal with copyright, this kind of film is appealing because of your characters, I reckon. I'm really surprised all those tents were allowed on the sidewalk. Many cities don't allow them at all and will remove them.

Visited Hollywood on our first visit to LA. So underwhelmed that despite several more visits we have not returned here. We are not really impressed with the idea of celebrity. There is so much else to see in LA as you already are aware. For me it is an over hyped attraction (as is the Mannekin Pis).

I find the video very interesting. On TV you only ever see the really great pictures and now I can take a look at the real environment. 😊

Matt I’ve just seen a video of Cairo Egypt at least it’s better than that. Agree it’s a let down when you think of Hollywood Blvd and the images it used to conjure up. But it was seedy when I went there in the 90’s. It’s interesting all the same to see different parts of the world through your eyes. Keep up the good work and as always stay safe.

Who the heck sold this idea? “Hey you Hollywood stars, instead of having your name UP in lights, how about putting it DOWN on the ground so the public can tread all over you, or even pee and poo on you, to remind you that you really are the lowest of the low!”. 😮 And they fell for it. It’s so tacky. 😄 “Legend”? That word lost its esteem when its use went from Arthur Pendragon extracting Excalibur from a stone to bringing back some crisps with a round of drinks.🤣 A fascinating video and a great way to start a Saturday morning here in the UK. I'm a bit confused like you on how Donald Duck has managed to get his own Star. Never realised how long the Boulevard was! Think you spent half the video being stuck at the lights. It's quite sad to see the amount of homelessness but given the way the world is going, it also isn't much of a surprise. Also just wanted to say, I like this new style feels much more personal!

Hollywood Blvd was actually much nicer in the 1970s (vs today). There were numerous movie theaters, decent shops, etc., along where you walked.

Worlds Worst Tourist Attraction. Now thats some accolade. They were just giving stars away to anyone at the far end weren’t they? No J Walking for Matt! Kind of reminds me of off strip Vegas, similar sort of shops and denizens. No strike for Tainted Love (sounded like a cover to be fair). The UK has taken the demented step of criminalising homelessness this week. The buses remind me of Simpsons and Dirty Harry! That diagonal crossing looks bonkers. Mmm, missing Smellovision on this one Matt! Ah a wig shop, thats me sorted. That a great activity for homeless people and for recycling, we need something like that. Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper? Ive not heard that saying before, classic! Not quite as crazy as I was expecting but I’m guessing time of day and week really factors into the crazy scale on that stretch!

What’s apparent on most of your LA vids is the constant traffic noise.

It may be not the worst tourist attraction, but if you consider only most famous attractions this one looks pretty bad. I really don't feel the urge to visit it whatsoever. 😊😊Good video though! 👍👍

The hand and footprints outside the theatre seemed more authentic to me when I visited, from a novelty pint of view, but would pass on this experience, thanks...

I love Hollywood Boulevard, but it's not the best place to be. Very overrated, a tourist trap and you have to be careful. I'm used to it, but most people are not.
