I love Margate! The seaweed by the harbour arm doesn't smell that bad, come on!!!

We own property not far from there but in a much more remote part. For an area so close to the capital, it’s timelessly remote and isolated. Glendalough attracts tourists but the rest of the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains don’t. Fabulous

I know that feeling after a long bus ride! Hard to believe that I used to travel 3 1/2 days on a bus from Nova Scotia to Alberta to attend college! And then there was that overnight bus ride up and down some mountains in Peru! Yikes!! Hope all goes well with the visa.

I once took a Greyhound from New York to Miami. Took about a day & a half. Luckily a friend met me in North Carolina with booze.

I've heard it's mad on those buses. I used them between LA & San Diego and it was fine, much cheaper than Amtrak too

Well done, Matt. You condensed a plethora of goodies into half the usual time. A delight for the senses. Maybe not the aroma of a coach bog full of mole and fags 🤢. I doubt Karl Pilkington endured that on his search for Mexican jumping beans. Where next, winner winner Chichén Itzá? 🤩

ohhhh a very very long trip Matt. It has been very tiring, I understand the toilet on the bus, I have also suffered it on occasion hahaha, smell of urine, shit and cigarettes from those who go to smoke hidden. But you have arrived at a beautiful place and you are going to fully enjoy it. Greetings friends. Stunning video, have a great weekend dear friend, greetings from Argentina.

I lived in Chatham for nearly 30 years and as bad as it was, Gillingham always felt worse. A few years back I had to use the train to visit my Father in hospital, on leaving the newly refurbished station I was greeted by the sight of a burberry-clad junkie shooting up - he promptly left his syringe behind. People didn't even bat an eyelid, that tells you all you need to know about Gillingham. At least Chatham has Billy The Quid lmao.

Good luck on your travels! All the reasons you give for leaving the UK are sadly true! The uk is not a good place to live compared to so many other places in the world. People say London is the greatest city in the world! No it isn't! There are lots of other cities that are much nicer and much easier and much cheaper to live in, where people are also friendly . London is very expensive dirty and stressful! I pick London because I live here. There are virtually no cheap places to live in the uk anymore, unless you go to the North of Scotland, somewhere like that! Lisbon would be a good place to live, I reckon? Happy travels!😊👍

Hastings is a crazy town! It has everything that you want and everything you don't! Yet Hastings is a good place to live. The live music (which is 90% free)loads of events all through the summer. Like every town in Britain, it has had serious drug problems. Which is a constant issue, unfortunately.

i am planning to leave the US for the same reasons. Too expensive!! Over $10 for burger, fries and drink at McDonald's. Awful fast food. i had my tooth extracted as it was the cheapest to do and it cost me $250. The US also sucks!
