Dolby Atmos is best suited for movie theaters. For at home use, I don’t know how ppl pass up adding Subpac or Woojer to their setup (wearable bass :) So for me, I am perfectly happy with stereo sound at home because I can always feel the bass no matter how loud or how quiet the sound is.

My entertainment setup is about five years old so I would say about 95% is Dolby Atmos. It a rare occasion for me listening in stereo. I think younger generations tend to be more mobile or using mobile phones for most of their content so stereo improvements would be more impactful.🖖
