Amen! It would make no sense for God to make it to where we were all unsure of our salvation.

Amen! I’m glad we serve a God where we are sure we are going to heaven! These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

“For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” (Heb 10:26-27 KJV)

@@SeanBarnettII Hebrews is the new testament animal sacrifices were over already . Hebrews was a letter from Paul to inform people of salvation and repentance. Truth in this passage is referring to Jesus. Jesus was our sacrifice and we can lose it through our willful sin the only way to rectify this is through repentance -> "For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, and have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, since on their own they are crucifying again the Son of God and are holding him up to contempt" (Hebrews 6:4-6 NRSV).-> Romans 2:4 Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, forbearance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?

@@david6270 Get a correct translation friend and stop reading from corrupted ones, it will help you later, seriously! Heb 6:4-6 is just saying that ( IF ) one can fall there is no coming back to repentance; WHY? because if you have read in context this book you will find that chapt 1-5 the Hebrew writer is actually preaching to these people about how Great Jesus is and how He is greater and better than the Angels, Moses, Aaron and the priesthood and so the Hebrew writer is making a BIG point here! no one can help you ( IF ) on falls because Jesus is the only great one, and He is not coming back down to get re-crucified for you every time, the way animal sacrifices were done every year. As for willfully sins read it in context Hebrews 10:26 is just saying that if one just continues in his sinful life after they have received the KNOWLEDGE of the truth ( NOT SALVATION ) and go back to their sinful life, they just rejected the truth because it never says they were saved. Heb 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

i was very passionate for God a while ago and now after a few years i’ve lost that passion and fell into sin. i feel like i was never saved to begin with because i have fallen away so much. but i still want to change my ways

I believe He doesn’t punish us if we sin. Sins takes us far away from Jesus and exposes us to unnecessary suffering while he’s trying to protect us. Sorry my English is not perfect I hope it makes sense 🥲

In the beginning we are saved made alive who were once dead in trespasses and sin. God delivers us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of his son. That's just the beginning of our lifelong journey our walk our conversion. We are out of Egypt but not in promise land yet. Jesus said everyone in his kingdom will not enter the kingdom of God in the end...the son of man will send out his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all things that offend and those who practice lawlessness and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their father. He who has ears to hear let him hear......for as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. But each one in his own order Christ the firstfruits afterwards those who are Christ at his coming.....and as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgement, so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for him he will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation......marvel not at this for the hour is coming in which all who are in the Graves will hear his voice and come forth those who have done good to the resurrection of life and those who have done evil to the resurrection of condemnation.....according to scripture when rightly divided all truth pertaining to salvation there is a difference between being saved made alive our conversion in the beginning and being resurrected unto life when Christ returns judgement our resurrection eternal salvation. That's why it not only matters if we believe. It also matters how we live our walk our righteousness now in this lifetime. Has nothing to do with keeping Torah laws or working for salvation. Faith and our actions together is how we will be judged in the end......
