12:20 contradicts 10:22. To have faith requires living a certain way, otherwise there is no reason to not sin. Also not sure where Catholicism teaches one can lose salvation.

Dude, how can you put so much emphasis on the Bible and yet not realize that it is NOT THE Word of God? Read the opening of John again. Jesus is the Word made flesh. He was the Promise. He is the Word of God. Thus if He is the Word of God and the Word of God has the final autgority over all creation, than it is not the Bible that you should be saying is the final authority. If it was, then you may need to ask what language is the authorized one. But thank God that ain't the case. Now as for God "speaking" or directly guiding individual people today, I testify that it does happen.

This question presupposes that the person being asked even believes in a heaven or hell to begin with. More accurately it presupposes that there is a heaven or hell to begin with. So the answer wouldn't shock me unless proof can be provided that such a place as heaven even exists.

Instead of insulting the Catholic faith you could try to learn a bit more about why we believe what we believe. Having existed for nearly 2100 years, the Catholic Church has pretty much explained to no end the rationale for the doctrine of justification. However, if you do not wish to learn more about that, perhaps you would like a quote directly from the New Testament, King James Version no less: “But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?” James 2:20-21 KJV I encourage you to delve deeper into why you believe what you believe. Dive into the heart of Christianity, with the Church fathers. I know many Protestants do not understand so much of the Catholic beliefs and incorrectly believe they were made up centuries after Christ, but if you read the Church fathers, such as Ignatius of Antioch, the disciple of John, it starts to become pretty clear that not all that American Protestants have been told is accurate. There’s a reason so many Protestants such as the well known Cameron Beetuzzi, Candace Owens, and Tammy Peterson have been converting in droves to Catholicism in recent years. The truth can no longer be suppressed in this digital age. Nonetheless, although I may be going to hell according to your worldview I will pray for you. God bless.

Yet the mother roman church has its hands bloodied by the saints who refused to bow down. Catholicism was birthed in Rome to undermine the growing threat of Christianity after they have tried to quell its growth, however even roman citizens in high positions were becoming Christians.

@@jesusisking3722 the kkk was a protestant organization that murdered Catholics. No church is free from evil people. Also you’re wrong about the origins of the Church. If you read the writings of the Church fathers themselves, it’s pretty obvious to see the continuity of the Church from the first century to present. Also, Jesus said the gates of Hell would not prevail against the Church, but according to Protestants, the Church fell from the time of Constantine and was not brought back until Martin Luther.

@@jesusisking37221st of all, evil is spread across religion… there’s a specific 3 letter group in America that was a protestant organization that donned white hoods and murdered African Americans and Catholics. Just because a religion has had evil people in it doesn’t discredit it. Second of all, that is just not correct history-there is a clear continuity of the Church and its teachings through the Church fathers like Ignatius of Antioch all the way to Augustine, who was a member of the Church several decades after Constantine legalized Christianity. Finally, do you doubt the words of the Lord Jesus when he said the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church? The only Church that existed from 313-1517 was the Apostolic Church, both Catholic & Orthodox… so according to the beliefs you espouse, the Church of the Lord fell and evil prevailed for 1200 years until Martin Luther magically revived it.

I have a great idea for both of your videos! For "Is this character biblically just" let's shake things up and do an Anti-hero. I nominate either Deadpool, Moon Knight or Wolverine for this one. And for your other video idea about villains being punished for their sins in hell, Anti-heroes could also work for that. But since it's mostly about villains, I nominate the Joker for the first video just like Batman.

great video. I dont want this to sound like i'm arguing with you and i'm sure you also believe in some things that i will say...so let this be an add up for some that may not know. James also said that faith without work is dead and that we must show our faith by our works (James 2:18-20). It would have been great for you to judge him also on the 10 commandements (tho i'm pretty sure the 7th would not be used in its favor). You cant just say all you need is faith, cuz should one say i have faith, but then sin so God's grace may aboud? Nay. If i say i believe in Christ, but go to rob a bank on my own accord...am I really saved? No, i would be an hypocrite. One shall believe the good news and repent. (Mark 1:15). I personnaly think some catholics may be saved and its not a matter of denomination, but a matter of are you acting Christ like, being dead to sin, etc. I know we will have slip up and i dont say if you sin you are not a believer, but some might say they are christian but will enjoy and continue sinning. To sum it up, yep we are saved by faith, but a genuine faith will produce good works and thats how you can tell who is a true believer. Matt may believe in God and Christ, but he should repent of his actions completely. Cant say i'm christian and go beat up people to a pulp and fornicate. (looking at Matt and She-Hulk)
