My husband is from the Bronx with roots in Napoli. When he says something like mozzarella he says Moozerell and people around here in Philly are confused. I have to clarify.

That's odd, because my family in Philly always said "moozerell". I used to tell people who said "mozzarella" that they were pronouncing the word incorrectly, because I genuinely thought they were. 😂

I'm an Italian and I'm not gonna lie, all those "Italian"American and their overused stereotypes always me cringe. Also why Americans keep using the 'Italian hand sign' in the wrong way as in when trying to pronunce their own name like here? That sign literally means "wtf".
