Looks great. When I repaired the old 10 gauge, I told you about in video number one I had to do some repairs around the side plates. I actually filled in the cracks with acraglass. I added sawdust. The camouflaged it decent, but not perfect, and it was perfectly flush with the wood. I ended up using some stain and some color markers to blend it in before I finished it. I can’t see the repairs. I also soaked mine and boiled linseed oil probably a dozen times since the wood was old and it was dry, and I didn’t want it to crack with recoil. I then put probably a good eight or nine coats of Minwax antique finish over it. Good job bringing that old thing back to life. I love watching these videos.

It turned out great considering the condition you found this gun! I'm wondering why you didn't do a blueing job? Hey, I love these old guns and just bought a Stevens Model 94 at auction if I can ever get them to ship it up North! Nice job!

Thanks for watching. I didnt blue it because I was afraid I would mess it up. This was a fun project. it sits in my family room for all to see.

Where did you have to grind on the latch? I have picked up several that have the same issue
