Jackfruit Payasam Recipe in Tamil | பலாப்பழ பாயசம்

This is one of the traditional recipes in South India and is very popular in Kerala and the neighboring districts in Tamil Nadu. Whenever we cut a jackfruit, we eat the fresh fruit and after we have had our fill we will use the remaining fruit to make this delicious payasam and enjoy the flavor once more. Just making this recipe takes me back to my childhood days.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup tapioca pears (javvarisi)
2 cup Water
1/2 kg jackfruit (25 pc)
1 cup jaggery
1 cup Water
2 cup Coconut Milk
1 tbsp Ghee
cashews+ Raisins+ coconut pieces

I am actually surprised by the consistency of the videos on this channel. There is no messy, shaky camera angles, no raw content....and especially the presentation.... that's the reason Madras Samayal seems to be always on the top among Tamil KZfaq cooking channels (not only in number of subscribers).

Tried this payasam for the first time today morning. It was awesome! Everybody in our house and our guests just loved it. The taste is still in my tongue. I've been following your Channel for sometime. The recipes which you share are too good. The measurement which you give is just perfect. One can be a great cook but only few can teach well.
