We have the triumphant Victory March of the victorious Imperial Army through the devastated streets of Nanking looked upon by the few living relatives of those killed by the thousands, todays equivalent would like the British Army doing a victory parade in the streets of Derry accompanied by the Orange order to celebrate the Derry massacre.
If you look at the Nanking massacre information on the internet you will be taken aback by the many entries from the Japan media side which do not recognise any undue killings over and above military operational casualties , In fact the whole period in Japan is only referred as the Nanking INCIDENT.

@@user-kd3xr5ft9k How so? The racial equality clause was signed by over half of the nations at the peace talks, but Woodrow Wilson, like the flippant racist that he was, overturned it. The Brits and Aussies May have opposed it, but it was Wilson that overturned it. That’s on him. Furthermore, he further drove the Imperial Japanese away when he didn’t allow them to directly annex the German colonies they captured in the war, essentially enforcing that Japan was not an equal to the other allied nations. That alienated them and led to their turn to the ultranationalist state that they were in World War II.
@boobtoob2507
@boobtoob2507 Жыл бұрын
@@shadestrider1033 pretty much. Japanese soldiers prior to ww1 were model soldiers, following the Geneva conventions perfectly and being honorable in victory. But where did that lead them? They won crushing victories against China, Russia, and Germany in the early 1900s but were forced to sign treaties that basically made them the losers. They were continually disrespected by the west, with the west acting holier than thou about Japan colonizing while the west was actively raping the world through colonization. After that disrespect Japan pretty much just said “fuck it” and went full scorched earth, not giving a fuck about treaties or anything European. The monster that was imperial Japan in world war 2 was created by European racism and disrespect towards Japan.

I always love seeing different dances of different nations - especially if done by the military Cause you then see the different takes of said March Most people - including myself - believe this to be a Victory March as it is portrayed to be done in every movie/show in places which the IJA conquered It’s not It’s a spiritual match - a call or remembrance of fallen soldiers Though I still do not know the name of it

At the end of World War II, China announced that 30,000 people had been killed in Nanjing. Ten years later, that number rose to 100,000, another ten years later to 200,000, and another ten years later to 300,000. According to an article I read, civilians other than Chinese soldiers were evacuated to a safe zone in Nanjing at the time, and the number of Chinese soldiers killed by Japanese soldiers was 12,000. And the strangest thing is that the remains of the 300,000 people who were murdered were not found in the ground surveys carried out during the construction of buildings in Nanjing after the war. In China, the number of victims of the Nanking Incident is increasing with each new year.lol

30,000 vs 200,000 vs 300,000 does the number even matter, war crime took place,invasion happened, it's a stain on Japanese history, end of the story
@sailingadventurer
@sailingadventurer 5 ай бұрын
@@spencerhan5830 nah, the numbers matter to measure the accurate scale of the tragedy. Or any leader of opposition political entity can paint a grimmer picture to cultivate hate. If numbers don't matter then USA, South Korea ( south Korea also did heinous war crimes in Vietnam and still denies it ), UK, USSR, China also had a stain in their history

The safe zone was meant to hold 200,000 people. Nanking had over 4 million of people before the war. How did John Rabe save everyone in this city? According to the Republic of China's statistics after the war, people in Nanking was less than 2 million. This evidence indicated that over 2 million people was killed or left.
