Most people place their favorite pro or college sports team. But in Texas, where I live, you are required to have both a front and rear plate.

I blame Daniel. PTSD or any other issues have to be resolved to be able to move on. The younger someone is the more understandable it is to be affected by past events. Which means the older someone is and keeps unresolved issues in their lives, at some point that's really their own fault for not doing what it takes to move forward. It sounds harsh and uncaring. I have major depression disorder and ADD and I graduated with a degree in psychology. I'm not saying this because I'm ignorant to the issues. People spend too much blaming others or a condition instead of being honest and not taking responsibility to remove that roadblock from their lives. That can mean a lot of different things, and some conditions, say like schizophrenia, can only be kept in check and minimized with medication and therapy and that person is afforded different judgment in terms of their personal ability to move forward. Someone like Daniel didn't resolve his issues and become successful in business - he ignored those issues which allowed him to pursue that success. But this entire series is based on unresolved issues. If he made peace in his life about those issues he wouldn't have felt so strongly as to intervene with Johnny's Cobra Kai - If Johnny had used any other name for his dojo then this story wouldn't have happened. This is a good show that explores the conflicts unresolved issues have with our lives. Daniel hasn't changed much throughout this series. Contrast it to Johnny who, in this series, has started to make peace with his decisions and move on from where he was at the beginning of the series.

@@PseudoNym100 But Daniel might not even know that he has issues. I mean, it's made pretty obvious throughout the show that he seems completely oblivious to it. I agree that Daniel should be focusing on his own mental health and deal with the memories of his past, but the first step on that road is to actually realize that you have a problem, and he acts as if he is not aware of that at all. In that regard, Daniel can't really be blamed for making bad calls because, as far as he knows, he is not doing anything wrong. His eyes first needs to be opened to that fact.

And all of the situations he gets into because he thinks the worst of people and doesn't try to get the whole story before reacting. Someone can only do that like 3x when it's the level of severity his is before they know it's an actual issue. He even says he knows he can be a hothead. And he's a hothead all through the series. You can't have those situations over and over and not realize there's a deeper problem. And you can always blame someone for doing something wrong even if they don't know it's wrong. More accurately, you can hold them accountable. It's easier if someone tells us we are in the wrong early on, but the person should also be able to pinpoint it after several similar situations.
