Idk, I had a guy come through my line in the smoke shack when I cashiered at Walmart who berated me because I asked for his ID and then called me gay because I was double checking what kind of cigs he wanted and stormed off. His wife came through a few weeks later and apologized for him (because he was a coward). I didn't remember his face, but I did remember the incident. And obviously I remember it still, over 6 years later.

@@Super-MackJ i had a lady like that too! it was 2 of them. i work at a discount store and our craft section is a MESS because corporate wont let us organize it how we want. one time i spent a whole 2 or 3 hours organizing it, and these ladies watched me for at least 45 minutes while they were shopping the other end of the isle. i told them to lmk if i was in their way because i had another isle i could work on while they shopped but they were all like "nooo, its fine!! youre good, glad to see young people working :)))" and then watched me finish. i finally finished and walked away to get my manager to see if she liked how i did it and by the time we got back over there 10-20 minutes later, it was exactly like how it was when i started. and they had bolted out the door without buying anything while we were around the corner, like it was intentional. i was SO pissed.

Yup! I used to work at Guess and people would take wardrobes worth of clothing into the fitting rooms and leave them piled on the ground, inside out, hangers everywhere, and would then just walk out of the store without buying a goddamn thing. We had a daily quota of $1,200 in sales that each one of us had to meet. It's hard to meet that quota when you have to spend half the time rehanging and buttoning and returning shirts and jeans to the floor while always being understaffed. My manager would make us literally harass customers who had already told us they were just looking and didn't need any help. It was so awkward and stressful. I think we scared away more customers then anything, lol

I used to work in a phone center, and we had old guys come in every so often because they needed "help with their pictures", which usually meant showing me (female presenting at the time) and my largely female colleagues porn. I also, after being a good way into my transition, was told by a regular customer that I made him hard, and he didn't know why. People also printed porn at the photo center. I was also told that I "don't know anything about computers because [I'm] a girl" and ignored for my computer illiterate (his words) male coworker. Dude was looking in 2012 Walmart for a FireWire cable, which we didn't sell. So I've been humiliated a few times for sure. There are a lot of reasons/ways someone would get a GED. All it means is that you left high school and got the equivalent degree, as opposed to graduating with a diploma. It's right to call out that those are two different documents though; using them interchangeably on a resume doesn't make sense.

@Olive Juice You seem like a really great parent! I'm the same as Somnia. I think in another lifetime, I could've been fit to be a parent, but unfortunately, mine weren't quite prepared. Like, it wasn't even that they don't love me- it's just that they didn't bother to learn good coping skills for their own problems, and somehow managed to justify taking it out on me. I'm glad I exist, but the fact that it's possible to mess your kid up as bad as mine did *by mistake* is scary to me lol. I don't wanna do that to a child, and I want to dedicate the entirety of my young adulthood to looking out for myself (and the loved ones I have, of course) and pursuing all the happiness I've missed out on from years of trauma. I like kids, but it seems like when you have a kid- at least if you're a good parent, they become your world, and I just can't see myself being able to healthily give someone else that level of dedication, so I won't have children. I hope I get to be, like, a godfather or something tho anyways sorry for the rant but all that is to say; I admire you for being a parent who understands that and I hope you and your child(ren) are doing well!! Jeez Jarvis, how dare you have a corporeal form and give yourself energy to do all that exhausting work you do? I can't believe you would do these absolutely normal and not at all weird things. And to have the audacity to not like being objectified and bullied for your shape and personal purchasing choices! Actually though, I'm so happy to see that you got upset at these people. At first I felt uncomfortable because I have a messed up relationship with confrontation, but I also felt so proud of you for standing up for yourself. That was when I came to my being proud of you. So few people with platforms will call out shit like this. They just ignore it, which is good in it's own right, but it really just shows people who don't realize they're hurting others that it's ok. Sure, addressing it could get people doing it just to be noticed, but so many more people will say stuff like this thinking it's a compliment, or that they're just being silly and joking around when it's full on objectification and bullying. Anyway, I doubt you'll read this, but if you do, you're doing amazing! Keep being awesome. P.s. I'm so happy this evolved into Dhar Mann Bingo!

Imma log my guess before watching: Retail guy asks her out. She says "I'd never date a retail worker, ew!" He turns out to own the entire chain of stores and that nice car she saw outside. Edit: Wait, it's two (straight) women? Ok, goldie comes in because she's looking for an outfit for her big date with a rich guy. She treats the worker like crap, and calls the clothes ugly, only to find out that her date is the owner of the entire chain of stores and that nice car she saw outside. Edit 2, after seeing the cast: Goldie exposes her gold digging ways as she's chewing out the worker and calling the clothes ugly. Worker turns out to be her boyfriend's sister. Ed3: Fuck, it's her husband? Ok, he's getting an award for something...but he's on the phone because he's not getting it, instead he's ordering a hitman to take out his wife the second she humiliates a retail worker. Or losing his job. Ed4: Ok, "You never know how hard someone's job is..." - so, she's going to somehow be forced to work in retail, I guess... Final guess: "It's about time you start." She dumps him, and then later he comes into the store where she now works, with his new girlfriend, the retail worker. He has a new car. Final edit: Ok. I suck at this. Why did they call her a gold digger tho? Her alleged golddiggery didn't enter into the story.

Dharr Mann is such a misogynist. Having a spouse who makes more money than you or who supports the family doesn't make you a gold digger. This woman was an absolute tool towards the retail staff, but being a jerk who flaunts your money isn't the same as being a gold digger. When her husband feel on hard times, she didn't cheat or leave him, she got a job to help make ends meet. Sounds like a solid partnership, actually.

Working in retail people do act horribly. When I worked as a cashier at a grocery store people tried to get away with all sorts of stuff. One lady claimed that because she found a jar of pickles in a different spot that she should be able to pay that price for it, which was less, and she complained how another grocery store allowed her to do that. Yeah…right. When I worked at a lingerie store people would throw stuff everywhere and try on things without their underwear on, resulting in items being thrown out. People would actually purposely do that and come back later and go through the dumpster to pick out thrown away items. People also tried to steal stuff all the time. My mom worked in retail as well and at one point people would try on clothes, pile them up, and pee on them. I own my business now, and I love my clients, but I still have plenty of frustrating people. The worst was a customer getting upset at my prices, leaving, and then calling and telling me his wallet is missing and he left it at my store. I told him it wasn’t here. He threatened to call the police and accused me of stealing it. He later called me to tell me he found it in his car. People are exhausting.

Coming from someone who got a GED, you can get a GPA based on your scores. A GED is exactly what it says: a degree equivalent to a high school diploma. You have a transcript, GPA, and paper diploma. If you're doing poorly in high school, I strongly recommend looking into how a GED will affect your experience applying and paying for junior college. There is probably an advisor who can help you make a plan for your education at your school or wherever you may want to go for a higher education.

In the first vid, doesn't the story prove that she's not a gold digger? There's no indication that she was with that guy just for his money and she stayed with him. A gold digger would have just tried to find another guy with money. Sure, she's rude and entitled, but I've seen not rich people act worse than this. The fact that she was wealthy only served to distance her from the video's target demographic. Dhar Mann creates such ridiculous villains that people can't relate to in order to maximize his audience. If these topics were addressed in a more realistic manner, people might see some of their own behavior or how they may unintentionally contribute to these problems. That would actually encourage introspection, but done this way it's just exploiting these topics and those who are hurt by them in order to make people feel good about themselves for not being so ridiculously villainous.
