As someone who has a lawsuit situation i think one reason he may have done it after all this time is because mentally and physically you have to be ready for suing someone. Especially with a trauma filled situation, it takes physical and mental strength to be at your best! Just my opinion though :)

I have watched a few Wittek podcasts. Every time someone asks him if he sends his medical bills to Dobrik he never gives a proper answer, so I don't think Dobrik ever got the bills. In another podcast Wittek said he wanted to make a documentary about the accident, but Dobrik refused to fake cry for him on camera, that's when they fell out. I don't think Wittek is getting very far with this case. This was two stupid guys doing a stupid thing

Attorney here, I am all about getting the best council you can and I'll be the first person on the planet to tell you how great Mr. Depp's council was but at some point you have to look at the case at hand. Mrs. Heard's attorney's (though I personally don't like them much because of what they did/how they acted and said after the trial) didn't have much to work with. All of the evidence in the Depp v Heard case was VERY lopsided. I understand David should get the best council he can but at some point you have to look yourself in the mirror. Look David, I don't know you; I don't know anything about you. But from what I have learned about you from this incident you clearly have narcissistic tendencies that will do literally anything for social media views. David has little to no respect for his "friend" following the incident and clearly doesn't have much now. The lack of sympathy and remorse he has shown to Jeff after a life altering incident THAT HE CAUSED speaks volume to Davids character or should I say 'lack there of'. It is so sad to see Jeff worried to lose friends over doing the right thing. There is absolutely 0 reason David shouldn't be held liable for this negligent act that very clearly was serious enough that it could have claimed Jeff's life. I'm not an MD but I think it's pretty clear and evident this could easily have taken someone's life. Shout out to these amazing doctors that not only saved Jeff's life but managed to save his eye and he is still looking as handsome as ever. Good for you Jeff; I look forward to the entire truth finally coming out.

The moment a lawyer has a formal conversation with one of the parties in the lawsuit, it makes it more difficult for the other party to hire the same lawyer. Many do this for strategy so the other person can’t hire them.

Hello, law student here. 5 elements of negligence need to be proven for the case to get past the dreaded “motion to dismiss” : 1. Duty Did David Dobrik owe Jeff wittek a duty of safety/ to keep him safe? 2. Breach of duty Was that duty breached by allowing/ convincing Jeff to be swung around in a crane? 3. Harm Self explanatory, was Jeff harmed? 4. Factual cause Were David’s actions directly responsible for the injury caused? 5. Proximate cause. Was Jeff within the “zone of danger”. Was there a foreseeable injury possible from swinging Jeff around? I would say that we can safely answer “yes” to all of these questions. Therefore, Jeff has cause for a negligence suit. Does this mean David is guilty? No. It means that process of civil procedure will begin. The court will allow the suit and they’ll begin the discovery process, where Jeff’s team will uncover/ expose/ bring light to a the truth of the case. If Plaintiffs lawyers have OVERWHELMING proof, then odds are the defense will settle out of court and we never hear about what Jeff is paid. Considering David just voluntarily accepted blame , he’s fucked lol.
