For the people here complaining about the chicken - there is also chicken sashimi in japan. Found something on Google for you: With chicken meant to be eaten raw, extra special care are taken to avoid contamination of the flesh. These aren't chicken raised industrially in the first place, they are kept very clean, and they are killed and handled with special care, and eaten very fresh too. There's no magic.

As a professional cook who is ServSafe certified and recognizes that Japan has different rules and practices regarding chicken, such as medium rare being ok and salmonella vaccinations, I was really enjoying this video until I saw the comments. That spatula did have raw egg on it, but he also had it over the griddle almost the whole time which would prevent any germs from becoming a problem. As for serving food with said spatula after handling the eggs, there's this thing called carryover cooking. It is when the food in question continues to cook after being removed from the heat source, typically continuing to go up around 5 degrees. As the food was debatably cooked to the same temperature as the eggs anyway... you get the picture. As for serving noodles after handling the chicken with the spatula, the spatula only handled a part of the chicken that was cooked and there is no way that that griddle didn't bring the bottom of those breasts up to at least 165°F in the time it was on the griddle. If he had sliced the chicken with that spatula and then served, that would be a different thing, but he didn't.
